Nice little restaurant in Solan on the main Shimla road. Interiors on the first floor are inspired by Armed forces. Please be sure to advise on less sugar when ordering Tea.
Lunch with Homely Chicken curry, tandoori roti, rice and veg raita. Very good food. Chhawani theme was nicely portrayed. Toilet is real clean.
Restaurant theme is good and the ambiance makes you feel connected with our roots. Cons: Food taste is average but the quality is very bad, service is too slooowwwwww.... They took approx.. first 45 minutes to serve soups & next 1.2 hrs to serve starters and course. The chicken quality was not good & it seems refrigerated for many days. On the price point of view: They over-charge in few items: 75 rupee for one piece of plain papad (small triangles of 4 bites), 50 rupee for one small bowl of peanuts and even overcharge bottle of water (I would have accepted the over-charges if they would have done any service onto that) - There was no service done. Recommended you to visit House of lights or Haveli which are nearby and cater your needs.
We have stopped here for lunch. Food was like Ghar ka khana. Tandoori roti was suberb. But mojito was not so good , they can improve its taste . The theme and ambience was so heart touching. Must visit place.
Very bad hotel...even the hotel owner misbehaved. He doesn't have any amount of humanity. Very money minded people. Never book rooms with them. They are cheaters. Skip this place even if you are considering them at your worst days. Trust me these people can go very low for money.
