The Story House Best MicroBrewery, Restaurant,Bar,Exchange & Air Bar In Solan

Didn't expect to come across a microbrewery in Solan, so it was a pleasant surprise overall. Only one craft beer was available during my visit -- it was okay in taste, nothing remarkable but drinkable. The food was a highlight in terms of quantity for the price -- generous portions. Taste-wise, it wasn't exceptional but definitely not bad either. The ambience was quite nice, though the place felt a bit under-staffed. Thankfully, it wasn't too crowded, so the service was still polite and reasonably prompt. That said, the staff wasn't too attentive to the tables -- could improve on that. In short, it's a decent place to unwind if you're in town -- nothing extraordinary, but worth a visit for the vibe and value.

The story house restaurant is in the centre of Solan town in Himachal, India. It has a variety of food options like thai, Italian Chinese, and Indian. Mushroom ke moti, garlic mushrooms chicken dimsum are good for starters. They serve alcohol too. The choice of beer is average. Food quality and quantity is ok. They should have more waiters. Ambience is average. Overall a good place.

This place has gotten bad to worse. No service at all, took 20 mins for someone to even notice that we were there because there was no one available!! Then took 45 mins to get the chicken dumplings that too were packed frozen and then steamed.. On complaining, the staff was adamant that it was fresh and there was just no management available. The soft drinks were served straight by Hand!!! Didn't even bother to carry a serving tray! Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!

This place has totally changed. It is almost dead. Poor Show. Don't even waste your precious time. Zero Hospitality. Zero courtesy. Zero etiquettes. Beer is as good as water. Alcohol content is much lower than claimed. Anyways your time your money your decision. Positive reviews are mostly from one time visitors.

The place was good, DJ playing songs, decent crowd. There are some table charges which is waived off if you spend certain amount, this is to prevent unwanted crowd. Overall it is a nice place to be with family, friends and as a couple.

I usually do not prefer giving thumbs down but I do not want to share false information. The ambiance was good though but service was pathetic. We waited for 10 minutes before anyone came to us to take our order. The food was okay but I do not like any of the available flavours of beer. They offered mango,apple and regular brewer flavour. This place is located on the mall near himani so can be easily accessible but the only problem is parking which is the same throughout Solan city.

The story house is a club opened in solan recently and i have visited there 4 times. It's really beautiful the decor , the music and most importantly the food. First time i had tandoori momos there and they were lit this place is really cool to enjoy and hang out. Price range little high for people in solan Highly recommended

Great place with great ambience. I had ordered Dimsums and Drums of heaven which were great. The washrooms were great and clean. The beer was pretty good, though I would prefer lager over apple cider but its a personal preference. The only drawback in my opinion was the limited variety in whiskies and gin. Great place and one of a kind in Solan. Must try!
