Rockhouse Restaurant

Venroy and Jerome were fantastic. The restaurant staff and the chef were every attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our dining was enjoyable. We had gluten, shellfish and dairy allergies which were all perfectly accommodated and our meals were very tasty! I can't wait to visit again!

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at Rock House Restaurant. The service was AMAZING. The view was 51/10! The food was stellar!! We started with the delicous vegetarian pepperpot soup with hot fresh rolls. (Almost like a coco bread). The wine selection is fabulous! Our appetizer was ackee dip with plantain. The dip is not hot - but had an interesting texture & was quite flavorful. The plantain chips were fabulous. Very crunchy & a very appealing arrangement. One member of our party ordered the whole fried snapper - esvovitch. It was well presented & served with veggies and rice & peas. The "scotch bonnet" was clearly tempered to the visitors - but it still had good flavor & pickled properly. The tenderloin was massive & cooked perfectly medium rare. The chimichuri sauce was fresh & delicous. The accompanying veggies were again - lovely. The rice & peas was served on the side and the perfect portion. Sadly - there was no space for desert. The ambience & location of this restaurant makes it an absolute must when visiting Negril!! (I'd highly recommend a reservation & request cliff side!!)

Everything was perfect. We have been in Negril for three weeks already, and the Rockhouse was our best experience in dining, hands down. Service throughout the evening was the top notch, and they even helped us with pictures of us and the sunset. We made reservations for a sunset view, and we had front row seats to a spectacular show overlooking the cliffs and surf. The food was phenomenal. We started with Ackee dip and Plantains and complimentary soup and warm rolls..amazing! Then Spicy Coconut crusted Snapper for me, and BBQ ribs for her. So yummy! The side vegetables were fresh local produce and cooked just the way I like them, with a slight snap. This is a perfect place for a romantic evening. Make reservations early, because it was filling up by 6:30pm on a Wednesday. We went at 5 for 5:30 reservations and had a couple of nice drinks by the bar.

Dinner at Rockhouse tonight was absolutely beautiful--breathtaking views, delicious food, and truly warm service. Venroy took amazing care of us, and to top it all off, they surprised me with a free birthday cake! Such a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. Highly recommend for a memorable meal in paradise.

Celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary here. Everything was perfect! Setting, food, drinks and especially our Server Venroy! Perfect evening. Would definitely recommend. Will visit again. Thank you Rockhouse.

We went here for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing and the service was top tier. They even sang happy birthday to me at the end of the night. This is a very romantic and beautiful place to have dinner.

For a cliffside/seaside hotel, pasta isn't the first thing that comes to mind, but their pesto linguine is absolutely delicious. The fresh basil really comes through and is complemented by the nuttiness and umami from the nuts and cheese--could go a bit lighter on the oil though, especially the crispy fish tacos that were drenched in oil and soggy at the bottom. The jerk calamari and coconut shrimp are also great picks. The sorrel and coffee/date smoothie were sweet and refreshing, and their version of the bloody mary had great flavor but could go easier on the spice and more on the tomato juice. Overall, service was great and quick. Dined for breakfast and lunch and the sea was just mesmerising with its blue and green and glittering in the sun.

The food, service and overall ambiance was amazing. Our server Jerome was great! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area!
