Barkaat MultiCuisine Restaurant

A good restaurant in Rajbagh, Srinagar. Both veg and non veg dishes are delicious. Their service was a bit slow but the food was good, especially kadhai paneer. It has a nice ambiance and offers a wide variety of food options. We had dinner here for two days in a row and would definitely recommend this place.

A nice little placed tucked in the basement of a busy street. Found it via Google reviews of the area, while we were staying at Solar Residency nearby and the place does justice to it's rating. It serves a veriety of food and the local flavors are quite good. It tastes well and the spread is quite broad. The only bit that can improve is the service. Very little help is offered in understanding the various Kashmiri dishes, you almost need to push the server to get any answers at all. Given the restaurant is in a busy tourist area, it will help of the staff can provide some help in understanding the menu a bit.

I will start with "A must visit place" and a very nice place with very good taste and interior to feel happy and energetic. I have been in Srinagar since last 7 days. Had Wazwan at different places. But this place proved it worth out of the box. I am still not able to forget the taste especially Tabakmaz. The restaurant is a multi-cuisine and doing just great in almost everything. Visited twice and both the time it was complete satisfaction. Second time we had Chicken overloaded Pizza. It was quite good. The fresh Bakery items sold too and they too are quite nicely made.

There's a huve problem with this restaurant. Date : 24 May 2022 9.30 PM Problems I faced You cant identify Staff from guests as they don't have uniform. The humidity was of that level that my father started sweating, they had AC but turned off the restaurant itself is actually a parking or basement converted to eatery. No windows for ventilation. Staff dosnt bother for guests for 15 minutes no one came even for taking order. Later after understanding that its just a waste of time as mismanagement was clearly visible we left and told the counter person that it has been some time no one has came yet the answer was we did not notice you and when i told i have been waving and been there for more than 15 mins now idle the reply in full audacity was Let me check the CCTV footage to verify my claims. Inshort avoid it there are better ones just nearby with great hospitality and treatment.

Really amazing food and great prices . I can vouch for tabakmaaz, dhaniwal korma and kebab which I ordered and was delivered fresh and tasty

I ordered chicken three times. The first time it was somewhat okay, but the second time it was a terrible experience--the leg piece was just bone. I went back the third time and told the owner, but he didn't take it seriously. I hoped it would be better, but it wasn't. The third time, the chicken tasted off, likely spoiled by the heat. This is my honest review.

We had a terrible experience at this place. We ordered veg manchow soup and they brought Chicken hot & sour. Waiter asked us to identify on our own.We somehow managed it but to our utter surprise they brought chicken manchurian instead of veg manchurian. Even waiter couldn't differentiate Veg and Non-veg. Our half an hour was wasted here in waiting and ultimately we had to dropped the dinner . We were compelled to pay for the food we haven't ordered. Not a tourist friendly approach...

Our group from Kerala visited Barkaat Restaurant for a meal, and it was a delightful experience. The food was not only tasty but also amazing. The workers' behavior was excellent, making the overall visit worthwhile and value for money.
