Disappointing Dining Experience I visited the restaurant right after this eid, The food was quite underwhelming. The biryani didn't taste fresh, and the Afghani chicken i had was completely a bland, lacking any flavor. Overall, a letdown--wouldn't recommend or return.

An amazing experience, hospitable, luxurious ambiance, food is super delicious, finger licking and satisfying....food portion is generous and the servers are good and friendly. Our service assistant was Saajid and he is amazing. Truly rewarding experience. Thank you Olive Tree. One of the best experience in Kashmir

I visited Olive Tree restaurant for lunch with a friend, and our experience was quite disappointing. First of all, the service was extremely slow - we had to wait around 35 minutes for our food. During that time, we noticed at least three other customers complaining about various issues, which was a red flag. We ordered Hariyali Chicken and Mughalai Dum Biryani.While the Hariyali Chicken tasted good, the service was chaotic. We had to remind the staff about the Sprite we ordered. We were two people, but there was only one glass and one fork on the table, and no proper setup -- the table wasn't arranged well at all. When we received the Dum Biryani, it tasted like it had been mixed with raw gravy, had no salt, and smelled of raw oil. Upon complaining, the waiter said they would replace it, but the second serving was no better -- again, no salt, and this time there were only two pieces of chicken in the whole dish. The waiters were aggressive and rude, and the management was totally indifferent. Even after we canceled our order, no one came to ask what went wrong or offer an apology. To make things worse, we initially asked if they had any drinks besides Coke and Sprite, and were told no. But later, we saw them serving mocktails and mojitos to other (tourist) customers. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Poor service, rude staff, and terrible food. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This establishment is a prime example of problem associated with Indian fine dining restaurant. Here you can expect premium atmosphere along with courteous stuff, food quality is also good. However there is serious concern over service timings. Also with the food taste is not at par with the high cost.

It's a fantastic place to taste kashmiri wazwan food and other food too. I tasted rogan gosh which was superb . The staff is very polite,you can get WiFi If you ask.

Food is amazing, especially lamb chops , expensive but full of flavours. Hariyali chicken, paratha, chicken curry all were delicious. Only thing to improve is service. They took long time and brought starters, main course every thing at once. Ambience is also good.

Food is very good , excellent service, all served with love and humbleness, Mr Asif and other staff members are well mannered and professional.Highly recommended if someone want comfort and ambience , Thanks to all staff members
