Having a delicious lunch here during my vacation at Kashmir was awesome. The location the food and nice people... made my day a memorable one. Thank you shamyana team.

We went to the restaurant for lunch we liked it. The price is very high, but the food quality and quantity was good. It is just opposite to the Dal Lake. Service and ambience was also good. PS - waiter will explicitly ask for tip during the billing process.

It's delicious lupsmacking and healthy nutritional value good and it's a must visit restaurant. Soup veg and non veg all cuisine are Best And the last and best part is the desert served after food . Walnut cake with vanilla and kashmiri honey and caramel on top . Reasonable, worth a penny and the best of Kashmir is the shamyana restaurant

This has to be, hands down, one of the absolute worst places I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. From the moment I walked in, the staff were shockingly rude, uninterested, and borderline hostile -- like you're doing them a favor by showing up. Zero professionalism, zero courtesy. Then came the food -- if you can even call it that. It was, without exaggeration, the most pathetic excuse for a meal I've ever been served. Cold, soggy, tasteless, and clearly thrown together without the slightest care. It felt like they went out of their way to ruin every item on the menu. I wouldn't feed this garbage to a stray dog. The entire atmosphere was just depressing -- dirty tables, slow service, and an overall vibe that screamed "we don't give a damn." I left feeling annoyed, disgusted, and honestly a little insulted that a place like this is allowed to operate. Avoid this place at all costs -- unless you're into wasting your money and your mood.

Shamyana can be counted as among the top restaurants in Kashmir, particularly the Dal gate area. They always serve fresh and amazing finger licking food and the service staff is also friendly and helpful. The restaurant also has an ample parking area for visitors which is also well managed by the parking staff.

I could try the food from a few places and this was one of them, if you're someone who has been looking for good mutton since forever, your search ends here. Rogan Josh, Rista, Gushtaba to name a few are the traditional Kashmiri dishes they serve at Shamyana and the food is lip-smackingly good!

I had a truly disappointing experience at Shamyana lodge and restaurant boulevard Srinagar. My brother and I arrived well before lunchtime, eager to enjoy a nice meal, but we were treated terribly. Despite arriving early, the staff informed us that we had to leave because they needed to clean the space--essentially kicking us out. We weren't given any alternative or suggestion on where to wait, and the entire situation was handled rudely. It's hard to understand why a restaurant would treat customers this way, especially when we were just trying to enjoy their service. I won't be returning, and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely terrible customer service!

Shamyana Restaurant was just not good food but overall was a fine experience. The food, the service, the ambience was spot on. If you're in Shrinagar the closest and the bestest spot you can go for dine is shamyana, , vibe, authenticity and warmth. Especially the host beside the popularity of hotel was aside for any assistance and such warmth they provided, was remarkable Must visit from my side.
