Budget friendly restaurant in Tharpakhna. You can seat and eat or take away your food. What I liked the most is they have half plate option of many dishes. Foods are good in taste and low priced. I tried vegetable fried rice, boneless chilli chiken and lachcha Paratha.

And for this delicious discovery, I'm indebted to the Mayekars -- they're high-profile, international superachievers but remain dedicated Malwani foodies. The father of modern dentistry, pioneer of cosmetic dentistry in India, ever-smiling Dr Sandesh Mayekar's celebrations are marked only by Malwani meals. His wife, Swati, an accomplished CA not only ensures superb home-cooked Malwani but also at their daughter Shivani's high profile Turf Club wedding served only Maharashtrian food. The passion for food is in their DNA. Shivani makes time from her successful cosmetic dentist career to be an avid food blogger. New York-educated Saloni works in her father's charitable oral health projects and is equally particular about her native Malwani food. And to this marvellous Mayekar family, I owe the discovery of the four-month-old, superb 'Sarangaa'. Lunching on our neighbouring table was foodie Sanyukta Khandke, a regular here. She vouched for the superb consistency, too.

It is a cheap and good place mainly for the students with low budget. The food quality is good according to their prices. Very crowded during the night due to insufficient space inside. Services are not satisfactory which may be due to staff shortage.

The most I liked is about the timing, it's open approximately 7 am onwards and one can eat regularly as the price is as low as it could be. The one who requires the breakfast (not oily) can have Roti and curry in the early morning. That's what we don't get in different mess also.....
