The Oriental Kitchen

The place is located just outside the Ranchi Railway station, max 100-200 meters. We were looking for a good option for having dinner as we landed at Ranchi airport around 19:30 and had to catch our train by 10:30. The ambience is very good and all the staff are great, lighting is proper as it should be. Good food options with a large variety of dishes. We ordered Dal makhni, rice and roti. The taste of Dal makhni was heavenly and one of the best dal makhni I ever had. For dessert, we took browni with icecream and it was also good. Rate is obviously on a bit higher side (not that much) as it is restaurant of a 4 star hotel. They levy 5% service charge along with 18% GST (as hotel of a restaurant, normal restaurants charge 5%) Overall a great place to have food, highly recommended

I really enjoyed the place, the ambiance was good nice property It was my first visit to a good restaurant in Ranchi city actually I was googling a good restaurant in rachi so i found it, the restaurant is operated by Chanakya groups of hotel ,beautiful inside and the food was great I do ordered some fish fries, grilled sandwich and dosas all were good nice behavior and near to ranchi railway station

Amazing food and service

Best restaurants I ever saw or visited in my lifetime. Here Services are so fast and foods are better than 5 star hotel.Must visit.

Food is good. Service is good. Staffs are polite and helpful. Tried Phad Thai, Lotus Stem Chips with honey glazing and Honey Noodles with Ice Cream, it was tasty. Prices are also reasonable. At the end they serve you Fortune Cookies

The ambience is good , the service though is very slow, feels like the staff forgets about the customers.The food gets really heavy, make sure you order a balanced meal. I would stick with the authentic stuff. 3/5 for food. 1/5 for service.
