The Glass House

We came across this place when we were looking for lunch options during our chikmagalur trip. The place looks really scenic and it has glass walls with an open seating area which gives it an airy feel. Coming to the food we ordered both non veg and veg food options. The food was a little spicy as we had ordered chilly chicken and schezwan rice. Foelr veg we had ordered panner tikka which was yum. The starters were tasty and the main course also tasted great. We ordered lime soda and mint lime and they were perfect in taste. We liked the food so much that we ended up having lunch the next day as well. This time we went with less spicy options like chicken tikka and kadai chicken, Dal fry and jeera rice. We also ordered cold coffee and it was so good. The place was clean and the service was quick. Overall it's a really nice place with tasty food and a nice backdrop of the chikmagalur hills and a lot of places to click pics.

It is a very perfect place to have food when you are staying near chickmagalur. The staff here is extremely cheerful and efficient. There was a lack of necessary staff the time I visited, but they managed to handle the crowd well. The food tastes really good although the food preparation time can be very long depending on timings. The best part here is the ambiance outside, especially at night times. There is enough parking space. The price of food is on point.

It was a great experience! While coming back from mullayngiri, we just stopped here. We had a cup of coffee. It was really delicious. You must try the coffee. Since we visited the Evening, The ambience was amazing, relaxing and soothing. The rest room is also there. The staff were so polite. I would definitely recommend this place Namaskar TEJANSHU Namskara.

We visited this restaurant for lunch during our trip to Chikamangalur. It's very well furnished & views are great. You can see the surrounding mountains and greenery. Overall ambiance is great. Food was spicy but other than that, it was tasty. Staff was very friendly, and service was quick. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Hotel is on city border and can be easily overlooked while traveling on the road. Food is really good. Hygiene is a concern. The plates were stinking so I had to clean them with water and tissue paper. I would recommend having soups, veg starters and any veg sabzi. Non-veg is average. Prices are reasonable.

The restaurant is beautiful... but the service is ridiculous.. there is only one lady who is managing. We had ordered a takeaway.. she said it'll take 30 min, but it took them more than an hour to prepare simple veg naan and curry. .. Feels like a big mistake visiting here, We could have ordered in Zomato instead. I literally had to go to the kitchen and see if they had even got our order or not.. no proper maintenance. After a long day, this experience was absurd .. I would suggest DONOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY

I had the pleasure of dining at the Glass house Restaurant and it was truly a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was cozy and warm. The restaurant is in a very beautiful place and ambience was so adorable. The menu had a great variety of options and I especially enjoyed the biryani and tandori dishes. The staff and the owner Mr. sachin was friendly and attentive and made sure our experience was top-notch. I highly recommend the Glass house Restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a comfortable environment.

During my visit, the hotel was empty. Nobody was there. Most of the menu items are not available there. Finally ordered chappathi and paneer butter masala. Chappathi is upto the mark, but the paneer butter was terrific. Masala added was very hard. And it was black in color. They are charging higher price for all the items. Also charged 70 rupees for a small quantity of ice cream. I will never suggest this restaurant. Better thing is having food from chikmagalur town.
