About Our Restaurant
Bombay restaurant started in 1959 by Proprietor Venkatrao Bontadkar to introduce the taste of Mangalore with a touch of North Karnataka. Now owned and managed by Umeshrao Bontadkar. Restaurant is located in heart of the main market, serves variety of dishes which acts as hunger savior to the businesses in main market, office goers, students and people located in and around Athani. Quality and taste of food is maintained since 1959. Peda, Shenga Usuli, Missal Bread, Kurma Puri and Kanda bajji are few of the fast selling and most loved dishes by our customers.

This restaurant is serving from above 60 years. Food here is very tasty and delicious. Sangeeth and kanda bhajji are the top ones I love to enjoy here with a cup of tea. .Polite and Courteous staff. Hygiene is always maintained. This place s situated in the centre of the town and reachable within 5-6 minutes by walk from any corner of Athani.
This is one of the old hotel in athani very good teasty tifin and meals also available here in very comparable price . This is very clean and comparable very good customers friendly service overall best hotel but it's not have parking space and slitly inside so not looking in normal tropic
Sambar over here is nothing but top notch!! Must have dishes: Sangita (tangy darsan bhel mix) Medu wada sambar Puri bhaji
