I recently dined at Udupi hotel anand with my family and friends while in Badami and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was modern and chic. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. Udupi hotel Anand is a great place to have lunch / dinner etc. We had lunch and dinner at this place on the same day. At lunch we had typical south indian thali which consisted of brinjal sabji, sambar, rassam, avial, kesari bhat (sheera), pickle, curd, rice, papad, roti/poori. All items in thali were unlimited and its cost was only 150. It was so good, yummy and filling. At dinner we tried set dosa, masala dosa and idli sambar. All the items were great and tasty. We ended our dinner with hot coffee. It was too good. This place is very budget friendly and a must visit for typical South Indian food.

Nearest hotel near Bus stand. Try coffee, onion dosa and Kesaribath. We went to have breakfast. Food quality needs improvement. Most of the food tasted was salty.

This is a really good place to have quick food in Badami. It's just next to the bus stand. Best for breakfast. Idli-vada, upama, sheera, Dosa are tasty and not expensive also.

We went here for breakfast. We had idli , upma , setdosa. All were good but set dosa was the star. The chutney was good , sambar was okay . Coffee was not all good , it was very sweet even after we mentioned to make it less sweet .

Great taste and good value for money! We tried the Onion Uttapam, Vada, Upma, and Dosa--all of them were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the coffee was a bit watery and didn't meet expectations. Service could also use some improvement. The location is convenient, being right on the main road, making it a reliable option for anytime dining.
