Hotel New Durga Prasad

As per location the restaurant is very easy to notice. The Ambience of the Restaurant is also Nice, they even have AC (Air Conditioned) Family Rooms. The Food Pics on the wall seem savoury. We went there for Lunch after doing a Google search for nearby Good Restaurants and this Hotel had a 3.9 Rating, seeing a Rating close to 4 we thought it would be Good and moved there. But it was only after reaching there and talking to the server/waiter we got to know that the only available food items were meals and Biriyani. Since we were travelling initially we thought of ordering Veg meals, but seeing the condition of Veg Meals on the nearby table we changed our mind. In the Veg meals there was just rice and some curry (can't even call it a curry it's was like coloured water) and some sabji, when asked the review we got was that it was not Good. So we called the waiter and asked to bring Biriyani instead. There was a long wait time and alas we got our Biriyani (it was Chicken Biriyani), on appearance it looks Good (I'll be attaching photos to this Review) but on tasting all the mouth souvaryness went away like anything...It was really bad, neither the Rice, nor the Chicken Fry nor the Gravy, it was only after asking multiple times the waiter provided us pickle and salad. The Food was not at all worthy but finally when then Bill came it was far more costly than we expected. For such a basic Biriyani in our Hometown it would only cost half the price. Afterall since the ambiance was ok, the seating was fine and closeness to the Bus Stop/Stand I thought of giving a 3 Star Rating. But when we tried to pay the Bill via G-Pay, the reply was... There was no such option. They don't accept Credit/Debit Cards nor payment via G-Pay/Patym but only Cash. A Restaurant that even has AC Rooms but not Online or other means of Transactions and when enquired there was no ATMs too nearby (who carries money in this 2024), we almost felt trapped that one of us will have to take a Cab/Auto rickshaw to any nearby ATMs withdraw cash and make the payment. Too Bad, luckily one of us had some liquid cash stashed and made the payment. If not, then... Bad Food, Too much Wait Time, High Cost and no other means to pay, so if I give a rating more than 2* It's like deceiving myself and others. Hence giving a 2 Star Rating as it no where worth a 3 star and it really keeps me wondering who it got a 3.9 Rating on Google Maps...!

In this hotel we will get all sea foods and all non veg food . And Biriyani is nice quality is nice but quantity is less and staffs are friendly and good manner .

One among the only few good hotels in this area. Decent food quality and it's worth the money. There aren't much options for non veg food in the area.

Food are looks very tasty my mouth warming, once I come to byndoor defiantly I visit here , I suggest chicken biriyani must try

Chicken biriyani is good. Fish fry is also tasty. Prices are reasonable. Gets crowded at peak hours in the afternoon. This restaurant is good for having a quick lunch or dinner, not for spending nice time with friends or family.

Good Hotel near bus station at Byndoor Railway Station Mookambika Road. Meals for Rs 50 Only 2 Curries With Pickle you can have. One Upperi and other Fish /Chicken Curry and Pickle. They are More Hygiene and have Well Services too.

Food is excellent and clean Little slow service Perfect for friends Rooms are very clean and hygiene Rooms are available for family

Tasty Food. Sea food dishes are exceptional. Reasonably priced for the quantity. Small hotel ambience nothing fancy. Parking space available.
