Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Right on the new Bangalore-Mangalore Highway towards Bangalore is Mythri restaurant. There is lot of space for parking and for customers to sit and enjoy your food. Clean and open kitchen visible to the customers and great facility for basic needs like restrooms. Food is good and the best one is Akki Roti, Buns. Service could be better with the customers. Value for money...
Good ! Authentic south indian dishes, Stopped here for evening quick bite and food was tastey but felt that under quantity for the price charged at, other than this everything was nice - ambience, hygiene and friendly staffs. Kannada hand writing board inside dining area is just wow Notes: 1. Easily recognisable from NH 75 - Just opp to ballupet turn 2. Ample parking space 3. Clean and tidy restroom and wash area. Separate dining sections - AC and Non Ac 4. Bakery and other shops are at same building

Akki rotti is a traditional and beloved dish from the Indian state of Karnataka, particularly renowned for its unique flavor and texture. This savory flatbread is made from rice flour, which is the primary ingredient, giving it the name 'akki' which means rice in Kannada. The preparation of akki rotti involves combining rice flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a dough. This dough is then patted onto a cooking surface, traditionally a banana leaf or tawa, and cooked until it achieves a delightful crispness on the outside while remaining soft inside. The versatility of akki rotti comes from the addition of various ingredients such as grated vegetables, onions, carrots, cucumbers, and dill leaves, which not only enhance its nutritional value but also contribute to a rich tapestry of flavors. Spices and herbs like cumin seeds, curry leaves, and coriander are also incorporated, infusing the rotti with a fragrant aroma and a taste that is both earthy and refreshing. Akki rotti is typically served hot and is often accompanied by coconut chutney, butter, or a dollop of ghee, which complements its rustic taste. It's a staple in the local cuisine and is enjoyed as a hearty breakfast or a satisfying meal at any time of the day. The art of making akki rotti requires some skill, especially in spreading the dough evenly to achieve the perfect thickness and consistency. It's a skill that is honed over time, with each cook adding their personal touch to this traditional recipe. In recent times, akki rotti has gained popularity beyond the borders of Karnataka, finding its way into the hearts and kitchens of food enthusiasts around the world. Its gluten-free nature has also made it a preferred choice for those with dietary restrictions. Whether it's the traditional method of preparation or the modern adaptations, akki rotti remains a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Karnataka, offering a taste that is simple yet profoundly satisfying.
Had lunch, plate meals, (rs100), and it was ok.. Less crowded. Well-behaved staff.. Looks like newly opened..
All the food is great, hot, the right amount of crisp, heat and texture. This is a rare find, don't miss this hotel on this route. I rarely feel this motivated to give a review.
