GURJENT PUNJABI DHABA AND HOTEL ( SINCE 1994 )

Gurjent Dhaba is a good place if you want to enjoy Dhaba style food while travelling this highway. Their phulka, roti, kulcha all tastes good. North Indian gravies also taste very good. Rice items especially Jeera rice is very tasty here. Only con I noticed was - The seatings were not so clean when I visited and had food crumbs and some ants. Definitely a good place to visit while on this highway

Food here was very similar to authentic punjabi taste ... aloo jeera was just Okay. Dal makhani was at its best. Tandoori roti was excellent.... Had real punjabi roti after long time. One more appreciative issue is non veg section/ kitchen is far away from vegetarian section

It's a typical Punjabi Dhaba like our good old days highway Dhaba with wooden roped cots. Also they have chairs.. Tandoori Rotis are tasty, Chana masala , mushroom masala are also good. Dal tadka, other veg gravy were not tasty. Even other indian breads like NAAN, KULCHA weren't tasty. Don't forget to have sweet Lassi, it's yummy . Overall they have healthy meal, without much masala & oil. Service is excellent by their staff

Went here for lunch as we were looking for a dhaba We were attracted to the cots placed there rather than the usual chairs and tables We ordered paneer chilly to begin with, the paneer was cut into big pieces but the sauce and preparation was very tasty, loved the paneer chilly. Then got butter milk which was pretty good. For main course we ordered dal-tadka-makhani along with phulka and roti, the gravy was good and roti was very good. Pulka was alright. Then we got jeera rice, it was pretty good but a little bit overdone. We were served by Madhu, he did a great job. Overall tasty food and clean surroundings unlike a typical dhaba, toilets were good too!

Earlier this place used to be too good. But on my three recent visits, my experience is very much below average. Service has been the worst and they eagerly wait to pick up a fight for no reason. Even food quality greatly reduced over time. Absolutely not a choice anymore. Hope they will rectify these issues going forward.

Felt the Roti was soft and easy to eat, definitely made from atta alone without adding maida etc.. Even Kaju Masala tasted good! And Tea was awesome for such a good price! It is open 24 hours a day as of the date of this post, which is especially convenient for those who love nighttime journeys! Recommended Pure Veg Punjabi Dhaba on this highway!

Delicious parathas. Perfect location for a heavy breakfast on the highway. Quality ingredients result in tasty food. Chai also tasted really good. Uncle ji is very friendly and hospitable. Must visit once if it falls on your way.

Run by a Punjabi family, this Dhaba is open 24 hrs. Spacious parking with easy access from highway, Clean and family friendly with spacious seating. The place is pure veg, food is delicious.
