1. I had taken one day stay over here. Ok place for on night stay. 2. They have 2 types of rooms. One is normal and one is deluxe. However I feel both are of same size. 3. Normal one price is Rs.784 and deluxe is Rs.1000. I had gone during weekend. 4. Rooms are very average home like rooms. Good but not that good. 5. Water flow in the outlet s not good. You have to swim in your own water while bathing. 6. Free parking is there inside for people who have stayed. 7. They have restaurent too and food is awesome. Pics attached for reference. I went on a vacation trip to Chikmagalur, and I had dinner in SOUNDSRYA RESTAURANT. I HAD A STOMACH UPSET THE NEXT DAY MORNING. PLEASE DON'T HAVE ANY FOOD IN THIS RESTAURANT. Who's planning for vacation? I can't give one star also... the VERY, VERY WORST FOOD I HAVE NEVER EATEN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. I have ordered chapati, and parota looks very hard, and with that we can break the wall as well. That much is hard; I am not joining... It's like that only. . I have ordered dinner at night, and I have asked them to parcel the food and take it to my hotel where I stayed. I have tasted and feel that they cooked food in the morning, and they heated chapati and parota and served me in the night. For this issue, I had discussed with the restaurant staff. They were very rude and talked very harshly.

One of the oldest veg hotels in prime location. But losing its charm. Had idly vada dosa and Bonda soup for breakfast. Was totally disappointed with the vada which was rubbery & watery chutney. Budget hotel. Masala dosa and Bonda soup were good. Service is good. Pocket friendly.

After hearing about this place a lot from others, I visited this place. The food quality is really very good. Service is good. I enjoyed the food here. It was up to the mark as mentioned by people who suggested this. It is a famous restaurant in town. As for parking, not much, two wheeler is allowed in compound but otherwise it's road side parking. Would not comment much on the lodge facility as the rooms are very simply with attached toilet n bath. Hot water facility only available 3 hrs in morning. No view from from. Nothing special. Rates are reasonable and affordable. All in all would recommend others to visit this restaurant

We ordered Aloo paratha we got burnt Paratha, we I try to cancel the order but they refused by Service perosn we called hotel manager then he accepted cancellation.. Same way we panner noddles also already made not good at all. Worst food South Indian .Meals good 10/10.

Good place in main market. Good taste. Very economic.

I'd like to share my feedback on a recent dining experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was subpar, and it took more than 40 minutes for our orders to arrive. Additionally, the staff's behavior left much to be desired, as they seemed disinterested and indifferent towards customers, giving the impression that we were receiving substandard treatment despite paying for our meals.

Looking at the ratings on Google, I took my family there. Highly pathetic food, extremely delayed service, and worst of all it was cold food that they believe in serving. Just because people flock around to the restaurant it does not mean it is a good restaurant. Don't know if they behaved like this just because we were visitors to the city. Not a greatly recommended place.
