THE TAMARIND PURE VEG

In Chikodi there are two hotels by the same name. If you are new to the town, you will be guided by locals in almost two opposite directions. In such case, don't get confuse. First one is The Tamarind and second one Hotel The Tamarind 2, owned by same person. The earlier is located besides Nippani-Mahalingpur Road, a little bit in outskirt area of the town, whereas the later, which is also recently open, is near Basava Circle, in the ground floor of Reliance Trends Clothing Store. Here, I have combined my words for the earlier one. The hotel is situated in a spacious place, you don't have to worry much about parking. Talking about food experience, we decided to start our meals with Manchow Soup, it was absolutely delicious. They cooked it in semi authentic style. Combination of all vegetables and ingredients in the soup was awesome. Then we decorated our plates with Mushroom-Paneer Mix along with salad. Mushrooms as well as Paneer were fresh, used in correct proportion, also the spices. After that we order Veg Biryani with Raita. They use good quality of rice and fresh vegetables. It wasn't spicy. Rice- vegetables were cooked at right texture. Tender yet fluffy. Not at all mashy. Raita was made in fresh curd, not spicy and sour. Sharing about overall experience, all food items in the menu are pocket friendly. Impressive work is also done on the Interior Decorations. Ambience is peaceful. Hospitality of the staff is good. In the backyard, they have small granden for family gatherings and all. If you get chance, make your dinner memorable with special moments here.

One of the only decent joints in the city, serves premium rated vegetarian dishes which include main courses and appetizers alike, loved the Paneer Tikka and Tad Tadka, Of you are looking for a standard and an economical place, this is the place to be!!! Ambience is fairly Good, Waiters are friendly.

I like the service here. Teasty food, good service. Best place to spend time with family.
