Whistling Woodzs Jungle Resort in Dandeli

Had a great experience in whistling Woods. The rooms are clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Was amazed by the hospitality. Food was very tasty. The proximity to the river makes the whole experience worthwhile. The activities are tailor made to make the stay enjoyable and adventurous. Overall would recommend this place to all who want to experience luxury, adventure and comfort in the midst of nature.

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location I stayed at this property for two days. While the location is undoubtedly great, the overall experience was quite disappointing due to poor management. The property is not professionally run, and the staff seem untrained. Common areas were not well-maintained or clean. We opted for the all-meal package, which I strongly advise against. The food quality was terrible--particularly the chicken biryani, which was made with what seemed like waste cuts of meat. I shared my concerns with the F&B manager, but unfortunately, there was little interest in addressing the feedback. I have some photos as well. The only positive aspect of our stay was the room itself, which was comfortable and well-kept. Given the service and food quality, I found the property to be significantly overpriced.

Had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly polite and accommodating, even kindly agreeing to extend our checkout time without any hassle. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Truly appreciated the hospitality--would definitely recommend and love to stay again!

Had a wonderful experience at Whistling Woodz in Dandeli. The resort offers a beautiful natural setting, but what truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff was incredibly supportive and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention to Ms. Swara--she truly went above and beyond by stepping into the guests' shoes and assisting them with genuine care and warmth. Her efforts made our visit even more memorable.

We stayed during February 21 and 22 2025. Property is exceptional. Rooms are clean and neat. Food is very bad. No variety. No taste at all. Let them charge another 500 extra but provide good quality food. We have no option but to eat at the resort due to the location.

This was by far one of the worst places I've ever visited. They charge 1500 per person for a day visit including lunch, with no accommodation, and honestly, the experience wasn't even worth 500. The service was pathetic, and despite a decent crowd, the quality and variety of the lunch spread were shockingly poor. For the amount they charge, one would expect at least a basic standard of hospitality and food -- but this place fell far below that mark. It completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. I would strongly advise against visiting this place, as it is absolutely not worth your time or money.

It was a memorable stay at Whistling woods. Rooms, service, location are superb. There is a scope of improvement in food/kitchen. Activities are good. Basic activities come in the package, for other activities dedicated manager is there. The swimming pool is under construction. Natural jacuzzi steals the show.
