Not a Fort, Just a Forgotten Wall This isn't really a fort--more like a neglected stretch of wall that has seen better days. What could have been a beautiful tourist destination is now little more than ruins. Only the outer wall remains, and within it lies a small town or village settlement. There's nothing particularly engaging or historic to see here. Unless you're completely out of things to do and simply want a walk along an elevated wall-like structure, I wouldn't recommend making the trip. Visit at your own risk.

Devanahalli Fort has been reduced to just ruins. Only the boundary walls remain, while the rest of the historic site has vanished under residential buildings that have taken over the area. It's truly disheartening to witness such neglect of heritage

Fort's grandeur and historical significance left a lasting impression. The ride from Bangalore was scenic and enjoyable, with picturesque landscapes along the way that made the journey as enjoyable as the destination. The fort is in need of better maintenance. Some areas show signs of neglect and wear, which detracts from its historical charm.

The Fort is very nostalgic. Clean and well maintained. A walk to the road facing one side " The fort wall" and another side "Devanahalli lake", is just stunning.

It wasnt a fort. Only the outer walls remain. Inside it was residential area. Filled with houses. And there were some old temples inside, they were good.

Expectations was high but never met it. It was just a big wall surrounded a small village. But the fort is still strong. Mud bricks are used. Inside the fort is a congested housing colony. Many temples are there close to each one.

This is the place where you can see the strength of the fortand the thinking and power of people in olden days. A must visit historic place for kids and elders too atleast once. It has riffle points and canon places. This shows how they are fighting before entering.

Manikanta K

The fort was destroyed but the fort's massive walls and stones still stand and I don't think that you should go specifically for the fort. The fort is easily accessible from Bangalore and is often visited along with nearby attractions like Nandi Hills.
