Nature Home Stay

BE WARE (Horror holiday) Dandeli nature stay claims to be serene stay in the lap of nature but the reality is far from what they claim. I did not want to write this review but please read complete review to understand why I am writing this. I wanted to spend quality time in December with family, hence based on review in selected this place. Location is nice and I repeatedly checked with manager if there is any big group coming to the resort, which I personally don't like. He said being Thursday and Friday they do not have any big groups. Based on this confirmation in booked cottage for two days paying 10500 for couple and 8yr kid. It was expensive; however, I was more interested in spending family time in the lap of nature. The day of horrors: We reached the resort after drive from Mumbai for approximately 13 hrs during the night. To my surprise when we entered there were huge speakers installed in the resort and note that they have a notice "THIS IS A NATURE RESERVE AREA. DO NOT PLAY MUSIC". I asked the manager the this was not what he informed me. He said they will play music only till 9pm. This was the beginning of my horror holiday and I had a feeling that this has already gone for a toss. There were around 200 college kids, think 10 people were staying in one tent. Evening was enjoyable with loud music and entire cottage was vibrating. We could not sleep, and it went on till 1 am. Food what they served was worst then the refugee camp door with boiled lentil, papad, watery sambar with some pieces of floating onion. Other experience are; * There is no hot water in the evening. One must beg to housekeeping staff to provide it * When I was sitting with family onside cottage cleaning staff keep on pestering that how hard they work, they have not slept, they don't get paid and all of this for tips. The movement i paid 200 they disappear * Ask for any thin like water or tea they will not say no, but you will never get it * There were bugs and linen and bed sheet with all kinds of stains. Unfortunately, in have not taken any pics * There was a tick on my wife's neck, and it was feed for 2 days * Don know when the linen was washed last time, absolutely unhygienic Tolerating all of this I check out on Saturday and was going to goa and there while checking into the hotel in realized that manager of Dandeli nature home stay has not returned my ahdar card which I took for check in. Inspite of paying entire amount on the time of check in they deliberately kept my card as a security. I totally forgot about it as I was going through all of the above nonsense. They never returned it during my 2 days stay and even today after more than 60 days I have not received it. I have been requesting them almost every week politely to send it and every time they kept on saying they are busy and send it soon. After so many requests I am fed up and though to writing this review. And the best thing, its been 3 months now and i am still waiting for may adhar card

Nature home stay, but is no clean in the nature nor in the compound, There is no proper facility given in the resort no indoor activities where provided no proper facility given, rooms not good no neatness, leakage in room during rainy season. Water flow very slow in washroom and washrooms are very dirty no hot water provided no swimming pool over all there is no any proper guidelines only food is available on time. No cleanness over all rating only 1.

Please do not visit this place.... Will spoil your trip and vacation.... Rooms are extremely dirty.... Service is very bad... bathrooms are not functional and have dirty water... unhygienic room...

The facility we get was good. The Rooms were clean and tidy. The quality of food was good and it was unlimited. Kali River is almost less than 1km radius. The water activity in the river Kali is very near to the resort ( i.e. the aqua jetty for river rafting and other water activities like zip line, zorbing, kayaking, boating in Bison River Resort).

It's good in the nature but not the quality of the rooms and resort no clean water available and no well equipped bathroom.

Worst service and no clean rooms dirty water never vist

I had really worst experience ever , worst staff ,black water in taps , no basic facilities, never visit here

Couldn't stay overnight bcoz of some urgency. Climate was too rainy and couldn't enjoy it. Room was full of some false smell and roof sheets are noisy in rain. Water sports activities was fun.
