Had a great experience at Coorg Gate Family Restaurant! The ambiance was warm and welcoming -- perfect for a relaxed family meal. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The staff was courteous and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. We tried a variety of dishes including porotta, fish curry, ghee rice, masala dosa, and vegetable biryani -- everything was tasty and absolutely yummy! The food was well-prepared and full of flavor. One of the highlights is the photo spot with the "I Love Coorg" sign -- a beautiful place to click some memorable pictures. The surrounding area is scenic and peaceful, with a misty environment that adds to the charm. Right next to the restaurant, there's a shop where you can buy local sweets, spices, and handcrafted items -- perfect for taking a piece of Coorg back home. Clean environment, good parking space, and quick service made the visit even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

We recently visited Coorg Gate Family Restaurant and tried their Mutton Mandhi and Chicken Biryani. While both dishes were average in taste, the mutton in the mandhi was well cooked and tender, which was a plus. The flavors, however, could be more rich and authentic to truly stand out. What really impressed us was the ambience of the hotel - clean, spacious, and family-friendly, making it a comfortable spot for dining. With some improvements in the food's flavor profile, this place has the potential to become a favorite.

We ordered potato curry puri, ghee Roast and rice ball. Everything was tasty. People were standing in a queue and everything was super clean. Location is amazing.

Very beautiful atmosphere..The mist fog overall cool condition. Neat and clean tables and surroundings I had idly and sambar on the way to banglore .very tasty and quality is also good. Staff behavior is very good .It take some to serve but it have that quality. We recently visited and tried a variety of dishes including Porotta,Butter Naan,Avoli Fish Chatti Curry,Mutton Pepper,and Chicken Mandi.The Fish Curry and Mutton Pepper were quite average in taste and didn't quite stand out. The other dishes were decent but didn't leave a lasting impression. The main highlight of the place is its large seating area, which is great for families or large groups. There's also a decent parking lot available, making it convenient for visitors. Overall, the food was average, and while the ambiance and seating are good, it's more suitable for family gatherings or larger groups rather than a special food experience.

Really nice place to stop by in the mid of a trip. A relaxing place for having good food at a reasonable price. Provision for shopping is also there.
