This is supposed to be an iconic outlet in Gadag for the local snack called Girmit and badinekayi bhajji (Brinjal Fritters). Really enjoyed the Girmit. There is no seating but service is relatively quick. Only downside - The shoo area itself is not very clean with paper plates strewn around. Would be great if it could be better maintained!
Oldest snack center in Gadag serving local delicay - Special Girmit and Badnekai Bajji. Usually crowded in the evenings. You have to pay first and then get the serving. There is no dining area for snacks in the evening. Girmit is served immediately but bajji takes time. Badnekai bajji is not that great. It's a different snack to taste here.
Mouth-smacking hit puffed rice masala mix. Locally called as Girmitt, Nevertheless. The ultimate taste of Gadag for Girmitt is greatly appreciated. Also, don't miss the badnekayi Bajji with the spices on. Tea tasted one of the best . I felt the tea has more sugar.
