Had a disappointing experience at Desi Tadka, Hubli. The food was utterly disgusting, the chicken in both the biryani and the don wasn't properly cooked, making it hard to eat. The flavors were bland, and the overall taste just didn't feel right. Definitely not worth the money. Won't be visiting again. Not at all recommended. The positive reviews that you see are all distrusted

The food was great . We ordered chicken mumtaz special and it was really good. It had eggs grated in it. The biriyani though didn't have enough spices. Just a subtle touch of flavour. About the atmosphere, in this fiery summer there should be 1 fan for each table. There is 1 wall mounted fan for 2 table. And the wind doesn't sweep the entirety of the 2 tables

If you are looking for a nonveg spicy cuisine in hubli or if you are nonveg lover then this restaurant shud be on your list. Youll be treating your taste buds here. The food here is just amaaaaazing and trust me its more than the money worth. I had been with my family around 12 members and the food just costs 4k even though we tried so many dishes. I really suggest you to visit this restaurant atleast once. The service was bit slow because the place was too busy and less waiters were available . The ambience was also good and very very cost friendly.

Only Best!!!!. Hats off for taste and quality. Only matter is that we have to wait more because of much crowd. I request to the owner please have some solution about parking and waiting list. Once we arrived at desi tadka. we can not wait more. Really it is brand of Hubli. Keep it up and grow up by new branches.

Good taste . Always bit crowded. Need little improvement in interiors, its really hard to sit there in hut house in summer. Affordable prices .

I had a terrible experience with this restaurant through Zomato's "Order Food in Train" service. Before placing my order, I confirmed with the restaurant if they could deliver food to my train seat, and they assured me that they could. However, after placing the order, the restaurant falsely marked it as delivered, but no one showed up at the station. When I called the restaurant, they refused to help and told me to contact Zomato, saying it wasn't their responsibility anymore. This left me stranded without dinner, as the train I'm on does not have a pantry, and it was already close to 10 p.m. I had no other options and ended up going to bed hungry. Such poor service and lack of accountability are unacceptable. Zomato promises delivery to train seats through this service, but the restaurant completely failed to deliver. I hope strict action is taken against this kind of mismanagement. Would not recommend this place to anyone using the train delivery service!

Last day I had ordered one chicken kadai parcel from here . but curry was worst quality and over valued.chicken was like rubbery.. totally waste of money

I found a tooth pick in my biryani the one sits on the counter doesn't even feel for it, when I said I won't come next time he's laughing and said okay sir would never ever recommend god knows was it a used tooth pick or not
