Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Ajith Puthan Pisharath

Restaurant Review: Ohh , we liked it ! If you're cruising along the BM Bypass Road and happen to spot Cafe County, don't think twice about pulling over. The place is a hidden gem, and frankly, I'm still scratching my head as to why there are some not-so-flattering reviews floating around . I've been here a few times, and every visit has been better than the last--so much so, I'm almost tempted to believe the naysayers might've stumbled into an alternate universe . First off, the ambiance. It's not your typical roadside eatery. The place has come a long way from its previous 'just okay' days. The neatness is something to be applauded , and I'm not talking about that "let's throw everything on the floor and call it rustic" charm some places claim. This cafe has genuinely upped its game--clean floors, tidy tables, and just an overall crisp vibe that makes you feel like you've been treated to an unexpected luxury stop on a road trip . Now, let's get to the food . Oh, the biryanis! I don't know what kind of magic they've worked, but the biryani here has definitely stepped up its game. It's like they've taken that age-old recipe and added a dash of culinary wizardry . Fluffy, fragrant, and packed with just the right amount of spices, it's now a must-try. You can practically hear the rice singing as it absorbs the rich flavors--seriously, it's a melody for your taste buds . The veg meals deserve a special mention too. A good veg meal can sometimes feel like a sad, underwhelming affair, but not here. Every component--from the sabzi to the chapati--is on point . They clearly know that vegetarians can appreciate well-cooked food just as much as meat lovers . The fried rice was another delightful surprise--crispy, aromatic, and the perfect balance of veggies and seasoning . And don't even get me started on the paneer masala. I was half-expecting to find the paneer floating in a sea of gravy, but no--this dish was a perfect combination of paneer cubes with just the right amount of masala to complement it . Now, I won't claim it's the fanciest place in town, but I'll tell you this: it's the kind of place you wouldn't mind stopping by again on your way back from Hunsur . The service is friendly , the food is consistently good, and the improvements they've made in recent months are definitely worth noticing . It's always refreshing to see a place evolve, and Cafe County is proving that it's no flash in the pan . So, to those who've left negative reviews: I suspect you might've caught them on a bad day--or maybe you were just grumpy from the long drive . Either way, give them another shot! You'll be happily surprised

Stay away. Was served stale food and at least 3 of us in a group of 6 got sick. The food served looked ok but that's about it. Tasted bad and definitely was stale or infected and the prices aren't cheap! Even the tea served was bad. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Nice place to refuel yourself. After crossing Mysore till Madikeri, this kind of place is missing. I loved that ambiance. But not their cutlery's... But really the place is very neat and clean. Parking area is there. Lots of pastries are available. Coffee tastes good. Pokoras are crunchy.

Don't go by the advertisements on the highway claiming that cafe County serves the best dosa's etc. This outlet is best for non-veg meals. The service is slow and can be very crowded around meal time. Can be a good stop over for a quick break but nothing to write home about.

Good stop over on the Mysore road.. Situated opposite the Royal enfield showroom, this safe has outdoor seating as well. They have a restaurant and a cafe outlet. We had Stoppes over in the noon for lunch. Good biryani and meals. We did not try out the cafe. Decent restrooms for use. It was busy and the service was a little slow. (Understandable).

On my third visit to Cafe County, I opted for breakfast, and despite having only three options, the simplicity and tastiness of the choices left a lasting impression, making it a delightful experience we thoroughly enjoyed. I must say that the washrooms are very clean too.

Ghee roast really roast good with potato Sabzi .. tea n coffee is average they need to improve . Too muck of mosquitos inside . Outside sitting is better . But when u come to hunsur and u compare with other hotels . It's really good . Cakes r good , ice cream flavours options r more

Go there for lunch if you can wait till dinner . Our simple order of fish and rice took an hour to serve !!! And this was when even half their restaurant was empty . And the food is also not that great . Really bad experience . Only good thing is their ambience , but that alone doesn't feed mouths
