Came here for benne masala dose and jeera dose, unfortunately landed at afternoon so couldn't have it. Tried their meals which was good, the payasa and the rasam were the highlight. The place is quite old, I like the way it is and most people will think of hygiene twice, I believe Village /Small Town people know what they are doing .Next time i hope i make it on time for their Dose's.
Old eatery in Hunsur.. Benne dose is very nice.. Jeera dose is something new here.. both are nice and recommended to try.. service is fast and you are welcomed.. recommended to try.. Coffee is very nice here.. do not expect fancy stuff .. sitting is old place kind off etc.. so expect accordingly..
Was recommended to have "Jeera dosay". Straight away ordered for that. Was not disappointed and it was nice crispy/fluffy and flavourful. Had never tasted a jeera dosay and this was a nice experience. Both chutney and pallya were superb. Felt welcome and service was very homely. Could be kept more neat and clean - nothing fancy, but more organised rather than having sacks at the entrance. A definite worth visit, if you are passing by / Through Hunsur.
Ordered Jeera dosa, Set masala dosa and rice bath. All the items had good taste but are bit slaty, if they had reduced the amount of slat, it would had been a very good experience.
Excellent food. As it is a very old hotel most of the hygiene freaks will not feel comfortable looking at the building.4 wheeler parking is a constraint. You will get lunch and thindi in the evening till 7
Just absolutely outstanding Jeera Dosa and Benne Roast Dosa. Must have! Top it up with some fantastic Coffee. Ambience is very basic as it's a decades old place.
Old rustic place.. the dosa was quite good as was the rice bath and the vade. But I didn't not like the sambar. Good place if you are in hunsur for a breakfast
