Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Visited for lunch during road travel to Goa from Mangalore. Has sufficient parking even for tempo traveller 14 seater. Veg restaurant - paneer preparations, rotis, chinese babycorn starters, fried rice were good. Lassi was also good. Idlis were good too, but both chutney and sambar need some work. The Sambar doesn't smell like sambar probably because of use of garam masala?? Chutney should have absolute and pure flavour of coconut - some other elements being used make the chutney totally non authentic...

My wife and I used to be regulars here, but of late the quality and taste of food has gone for a toss, and the price has become expensive. We ordered 2 plates of panner manchurian, and got stale paneer which was tasting sour, rubbery and had an unpleasant smell. Not planning on visiting this again.

Lovely place Rooms could have been more luxurious and elegant But worth money you spend Food is very tasty and standard Staff is prompt kind and compassionate I shall certainly recommend this property for eating and staying Pure vegetarian food served We also were served some food items without onion and garlic on request

Paakashala in Kumbashi serves good food, but the prices are steep for the location. While the dishes were tasty, they didn't quite justify the cost. Considering Kumbashi's setting, I expected more value for money. Maybe for special occasions or treats, but not for regular dining. Worth trying, but manage expectations. Podi masala dose costs 160 Rs, Regular Gudbud costs 190 Rs Both not worth the money paid.

DEADSHOT GAMING

Frankly speaking we can get even better food at the same price in a very small eatery... This place is overhyped and overrated for sure... Except for the big parking space they provide. And for the AC rooms there is nothing special about the restaurant... I felt it's truly overhyped the tea costs 50 and the taste was like any other 20 rupees tea nothing special in it... The other day i had some ice creams and those were very mid not even reasonable for the price, and in the menu the price was different and in the bill the price was different they should update thier menu with the current price if can't then it's better to close such overrated resturants.. which serve anything at expensive price!!

Super slow service. We waited 20 min for Dosa , got tired and had to cancel. Staff behaviour not friendly. We tasted Manchow soup which wasn't great at all.

I visited Pakashala in Kumbhashi and ordered the North Indian meals. The thali was well-balanced, offering a variety of dishes including roti, dal, paneer curry, mixed vegetable sabzi, rice, and dessert. The flavors were authentic and satisfying, especially the paneer, which was soft and rich in taste. Portion sizes were generous and the food was served hot and fresh. The ambiance was clean and family-friendly, and the staff was courteous and attentive. It's a good stop for travelers looking for vegetarian North Indian food near Kumbhashi. Overall, a pleasant dining experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

This place was a 5 star in 2019 but now has fallen in food quality and service. I guess the typical arrogance that sets in because of the highway presence and the resulting constant customer foot fall. We Swiggy ordered food for kids (kumbhashi restaurant ) specifically ordered no spice at all in items like paneer fried rice and pulav - but they made it very spicy anyway. Lot of food was wasted and we had to make other arrangements for kids. Next day we visited their restaurant (kumbhashi) for lunch. We ordered hobo Manchuri for kids and specifically ordered no spice at all. They made it very spicy anyway - that food was entirely wasted. We asked for ice cream, they had just one flavour - but not even basic flavours like vanilla, strawberry etc. We then stopped ordering from this place. Hotel Arya and Hotel Dwarka were 100 times better and far cheaper.
