We recently had the pleasure of dining at Shetty Lunch Home and it was an exceptional experience! The menu offered a diverse range of Mangalorean dishes. We tried their famous chicken ghee roast and it was mind blowing! Each dish was rich,flavourful and absolutely delicious.The service was attentive,friendly and prompt. Considering the high quality of food,service and ambiance, the prices seem to be very reasonable. The food was exceptional,the service was attentive and the ambiance was warm and welcoming.i would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Mangalorean dining experience. They also have the famous IDEAL Icecream. It is definitely a one stop for all!

Taste is normal and price comparatively on higher side. Some of their special specific items are really expensive. Over all you can give a try. Was expecting wow experience. We travelled 25km to just to taste the best but disappointed.

Visited for lunch, Shetty Lunch Home is a must-visit for authentic coastal Karnataka food! I tried their Kori Roti, and it was absolutely amazing. The crispy, crunchy roti soaked in flavorful, spicy chicken curry was just perfect. The balance of spices and the rich coconut-based gravy made it an unforgettable dish. Apart from that, their seafood is always fresh, and the ghee roast is a must-try too. The place has an old-school charm, quick service, and reasonable prices. If you're in the Udupi-Mangalore region, don't miss this iconic spot!

After searching for good sea food restaurants, we group of 11 friends went here. Normal sitting area is okay okay. Felt there was not that much light there. We went inside the family dining AC room and there, ambience was good. Tables were neat and washrooms were well maintained. We ordered famous prawns ghee roast, Anjal tawa fry, kune masala fry, chicken kelmi kebab and many other items. Service was bit late though there were very less people. And no tandoori rotis were available. No desserts also. May be it was because we went around 4PM. Taste was awesome. Felt fish and all other items were fresh. Food was very good. Bill came to around 5000 for 11 people which comes to 450 rupees per head. Recommend this place for anyone who wants to have authentic ghee roast and sea food when you are in Kundapur.

I have been coming here for a decade... The taste remains the same top notch. Just love the ghee roasts... Chicken, prawns or crab... The ghee roasts are just droolworthy! Love their boiled rice and fish curry, Kane masala fry and their fish naked fries ( I had squid) Must visit if you are nearby Kundapur
