Amazing place to have sea food in mangalore. Went there on a Sunday. Place was full but got a table soon. Service was prompt and quick. Food was amazing everything was well done hot spicy and tasty. A must visit place. Tava fish 5* Ghee roast chicken 5* Squid fry 5* Silver fish fry 4* Meals 4.5* Overall will give 5* for food Don't expect any ambience here but place is still clean

Had high hopes for Girimanjas after hearing so much about it, but honestly, it didn't live up to the hype. I was really looking forward to the prawn ghee roast, but it just didn't hit the mark -- lacked flavour and depth, and the prawns weren't as fresh or tasty as expected. Also tried a few other dishes like the pomfret fry, which was crispy but quite bland. Overall, the food felt very basic -- nothing that really stood out or made me want to come back. On the positive side, service was polite and quick, and prices were fair. The place has an old-school, no-frills vibe which is fine if the food shines -- but in my case, it didn't. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I walked away disappointed. It's probably still a decent spot for locals or those looking for simple Mangalorean seafood, but for me, it didn't live up to the reputation.

Tried Giri Manja's in Mangalore and it truly lives up to the hype! We had Anjal Tawa Fry, Prawns Ghee Roast, Koddai Tawa Fry, Bondas Golden Fry, and soft drinks -- every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The standard thali was simple yet satisfying, with boiled rice, a veg dish, beetroot, pappadam, and a delicious fish curry -- which they generously poured over the rice. The place was packed with a great local vibe, service was super fast, and the short wait was totally worth it. A must-visit for authentic coastal flavors!

The variety and quality of the dishes are outstanding--each bite is a burst of flavor that speaks to the care and expertise of the chefs. I would love to rate this place beyond 5 stars, but unfortunately, Google's rating system doesn't allow that! Trust me, if I could, I would give it a solid 6 stars. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood.

I had the chance to visit the very famous GIRIMANJA'S today. The fish was very fresh and tasted amazing. Like any popular restaurant there was heavy rush and a scarcity of seating. Also, there was no A/C room to beat the mangalore heat!!! Nevertheless, had a good experience highly recommended to my fellow foodies and fish fanatics!!!

GiriManja's is a must-visit for seafood lovers visiting Mangalore. Very authentic taste. I was particularly impressed by the Anjal tawa fry and prawns golden fry, both were cooked to perfection. The pricing is very reasonable making it an excellent value for the quality of food you receive
