We went here on a working day, still it was crowded and wait was more. And the wait was completely worth it. There's ample parking space, waiting area. Chairs are provided in waiting area. You need to add your name for the waiting list as you reach so that you get a table early. Service is really good. Food options as well. Along with fish, seafood chicken is also available. Fish thali was worth it, fish fry and bondas ghee roast were next level.

This is a must-visit for seafood lovers, Arrive early to avoid long waiting. Tried non veg meals, kingfish fry, crab and prawns ghee roast. The food is delicious and economical. Parking is conveniently available near to the restaurant. Service is quick, and the ambiance is casual. Highly recommend for fresh seafood and authentic mangalore cuisine. Worth the visit, but plan your timing accordingly.

Too much hype this place has and not totally convinced. The taste of curry which is a big contributor for a meal is below par. Kingfish fry 1 piece was Rs.490 which I see is too much overpriced for Mangalore. The crab boneless ghee dish was okayish and prawn ghee roast was also similar but nothing exceptional. For the wait and food finally, I would not like to go again.

Near the car street of Mangaluru you would the best place to have the orginal karnataka coastal cusuine . They also serve the famous manglorean ghee roast . There are many fry options including the rawa fry and the one with masala . Prawns biriyani is also good . But the real offbeat one is the gsb gravy type fish curries that they offer including the alle piyavu and hinga udda is the ones you should try with boiled rice. There would be waiting period if you come in peak lunch hours but it's all worth it . There are two seating one with ac and one without. There are lot of fish options but you would have to have it with rice or neer dosa.

A little bit extra hype for their sea food varieties!!! This place especially for their sea food varieties - prawn , fish , squid also serves veg and non veg meals. What we tried: * Ghee prawn roast * Ghee fish roast * Ghee squid roast * Non veg meals * Veg meals All ghee roast items were suggested by some local reviewers so we had a little taste of everything. Every item was quite different though. As this place is famous it gets filled fast during weekend and during peak hours it is difficult to find a seating and waiting time is more. Service is quick but gets little delayed due to huge crowd however it's justifiable. A decent ambience with ample seating area arrangement. Thumbs up for this place

MACHALI is a restaurant that has been making waves on social media, and I finally got a chance to check it out. The ambiance is fantastic, with a spacious seating area that's perfect for families. I tried some of their signature dishes, and I was impressed by the quality of the food. The boneless crab ghee roast was a standout, melting in my mouth like butter. The anjal fish fry was equally delicious, with fresh, flavorful fish. However, I wasn't as impressed with the squid chilli. While the taste was okay, I felt there was more capsicum and onion than squid, and the quantity could have been better. The fish thali was average, and the fish curry, while good, wasn't quite as authentically Mangalore-style as I'd hoped. Overall, I had a good experience at MACHALI. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were reasonable. If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant with delicious seafood, I would definitely recommend giving MACHALI a try. Just be sure to order the boneless crab ghee roast and anjal fish fry - you won't be disappointed!
