Maharaja Family Restaurant

Food is good. Quality is good. Taste is so so. Service is medium. Ambience is attractive and soothing for eyes. Location is good but wheelchair direct access is difficult as before lift few steps need to cross.

Visited for dinner, Maharaja Family Restaurant is a great place for coastal Karnataka cuisine! We tried the Neer Dosa, Marvai (clams), Fish Anjal, and Fish Rava, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The Neer Dosa was soft and paired perfectly with the Marvai curry, which had a rich and delicious taste. The Fish Anjal was well-cooked, and the Fish Rava had the perfect crispy coating. To finish off, we had a Sundae for dessert, which was a great way to end the meal. The service was quick, and the ambiance was nice for a family dining experience. Definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers in the area!

Had visited the restaurant with my family and 6 members Food 3/5 Service 3/5 Ambience 3/5 Have rated this based on hype vs reality Pros 1.Parking available 2.AC hall / roof top seating available 3. Seating was very comfortable Cons 1.The service was late . May be because of Christmas but we waited around 35 minutes for our main course 2.The food was bland I feel they are catering to the NRI and foreigners so the spice is not what you expect from mangalore dishes 3.The ambience was dull no music in the background 4 . The Verity in menu was less. 5. Prices were not justified for the taste Will give it another try on a non holiday and update my review

Great food but there has been a change in cutlery in case of soups, porcelain soup bowl replaced by steel ones. Also chutney portions have decreased. But the quality of food remains the same.

It's a really good restaurant especially their ghee roasts that were the best in town...there are more affordable restaurants but it was worth the ambience and the service they provided

A good restaurant to have chicken ghee roast, masala fish fry, tawa fry along with neer dosa. I tried their mutton biriyani too and found it good. Price is reasonable given the quality of food. Check out the menu card which I have posted as of January 2025. To get parking is a bit difficult, plan accordingly.

Ok food. Not that great. I had ordered sea food thali. Spice was very less. Kindly of sweetish...ordered one glass sol kadi for 100 rs. The worst part was fried crab.... horrible.

Recently visited Maharaja Restaurant and had a fantastic experience! I tried Squid butter garlic, Prawns ghee roast, Baby corn manchurian- each dish was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The seafood was fresh, and the seasoning was just right. The ambience was cozy and inviting, with soft background music that added to the overall vibe. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys delicious food in a relaxed setting!
