As a tourist, we were looking for some good food in the locality near to our stay. This place turned out to be a hidden gem! Don't go by the locality of market near this hotel but just give it a try and you will be in for a pleasant surprise. Food is fresh, tasty and no stomach upsets. We discovered this place by chance and decided to give it a try as it was Bandh and we did not want to risk going too far in the search for good food. This place really stunned us with great food, easy on the pocket and yet so tasty and no stomach issues. For the next two days of our stay, this was our only go-to place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are warm and ensure they attend quickly to you and get the orders quickly. Totally recommended! The taste of Sambhar and Chutney is also too good. We tried Idly Vada, Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Pulao, Mushroom Biryani, Pongal, Meals and so on. Not even a single thing was disappointing and they kept us interested in the food for all 3 days of our stay. Amazing taste and quality of food.
Mookambika Cafe is an absolute gem! The food here is simply outstanding. The Rava Dosa was crispy and flavorful, the Podi Roast had the perfect balance of spice and crunch, and the Parotta Kurma was just wow--soft, flaky parottas paired with a delicious, aromatic kurma. The lunch meals were wholesome and satisfying, with every dish bursting with authentic flavors. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. If you're looking for amazing South Indian food, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend!
