Sana-di-ge Mangalore - Seafood Restaurant

Nope I am not impressed... Nobody should waste your money on such food quality. reading the 4 starer review I took my family for lunch here but it was utterly disappointing. The lasooni chicken kabab was stinking and half cooked, the Mutton was tough and poor quality just spicy and nothing else. The only good thing were the veg dishes we had. There are way better restaurants for better price point and food quality.

This restaurant had a great atmosphere and great service. The seafood soup was mind-blowingly delicious. It didn't have much seafood but the flavor was so good! We considered coming back just for the soup. We got a half size seafood platter and it was so much food! It was awesome to be able to try so many different seafoods with so many different preparations. I enjoyed the black pepper flavor of the crab and I liked the fish that was covered with a cornmeal-like crust. The shrimp was also great. The only part I didn't really like was the squid, which was a bit soggy. I also loved the neer dosa, which paired really nicely with the seafood. I'd definitely come back!

The aesthetics of the resturant are amazing and so is the taste of the food, however the staff seems a bit slow , taking about 30 minutes to get the order , and eventually getting us hara bhara kabab instead of dahi kabab only because the restaurant was closing and dahi kabab wasn't available. We weren't asked if hara bhara kabab was okay for us , just directly replaced. Finger bowls weren't given saying it's too late to serve those now. In the morning breakfast, small cockroachs were also present on the dining tables. There could be a bit bias with the service provided due to the timings but this is the bare minimum to be expected at a fancy restaurant like this. However, the food was delicious!!

Even though food was delayed a lot, the whole team gave their best... taste was excellent, very friendly staff, good culture, very responsible... we understand there wer no free tables... And the kitchen was overflowing with orders... Overall good experience...

Best Fine Done Restaurant in its class on all fronts. Food quality and Taste is very good . We had our breakfast for two days and enjoyed all the items in their menu. Same was our experience for lunch and dinner. This is a family restaurant.They serve liquor here and can enjoy the evening sitting in the 8 th floor and enjoy the view outside. We found out that our experience was better here than even Sai palace for food. Great Food Good Ambience Very good Service by their staff. Over all nice fine dine experience in Namma Mangaluru.

A must visit fine dine restaurant offering spectacular views of the Mangalore skyline. The rustic & elegant decor exudes the old world charm which is bound to make you nostalgic. Table reservation is recommended as the place is quite popular. We booked a corner seat with the cityscape in sight. The waiter gave us two tabs with the e-menu and explained their specialities & delicacies really well. The tandoori prawns were sumptuous. The chicken ghee roast with neer dosa was out of this world. The succulent mumtaz tangdi kebab, the perfectly balanced crab soup and the spicy chicken pepper fry meant we had no room for anything else but our waiter convinced us to try their speciality coconuts payasam & we also ordered one gulab jamun with icecream. Both of them were just perfect. Probably the best commercial payasam & gulab jamun we have ever had. Overall we had a great time, and felt really pampered by their hospitality. Kudos to all of the staff

Fantastic lunch experience today, perhaps the only fine (South Indian) dining restaurant. Located on the top floor of the Goldfinch Hotel, the restaurant gives a culinary glimpse across Karnataka, Goa and Kerala. We ordered the Corn Kosambari ( fresh corn, grated coconut, julienned carrot etc) - crunchy and fresh and Corn Dry with salt and pepper. For the main course- the 1) Kori Gassi was superb- the curry was finger licking, mild and ground to a fine texture; 2) Nuggekai ( Drumstick/Moringa) Pulimunchi - a fiery looking tangy red curry with drumsticks was the star. The spice and the tangy taste of tamarind was balanced beautifully and went well with the soft Neer dosas. We also ordered the brown/boiled rice to go with the two curries; 3) the Kane Tawa Fry was a delight. Fresh and marinated very well. We loved the overall experience.

A special shoutout to Hemant and Nikash - their recommendations were spot on, and their warm, attentive service truly elevated our evening. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation was impressive. Adding to the lovely ambiance was the live performance by a talented couple, whose soulful singing created the perfect backdrop for the evening. Their music added a personal and heartfelt touch that made the night even more memorable. Goldfinch Mangalore is definitely a place I would return to - top-notch service, great food, and a warm, vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
