The Grand Kitchen - Multi Cuisine Restaurant

Visited The Grand Kitchen at AJ Grand Hotel recently. The ambience is excellent--modern interiors, clean setup, and a premium feel. The service was great, and valet parking adds to the comfort. Food was a mix of hits and misses. The butter garlic prawns were tasty and well-cooked, but the portion was too small for the high price. The kulcha and naan were soft and fresh. However, the murg tikka lababdar didn't impress--average taste and again, overpriced for the portion. Desserts were better. The shahi tukda was rich and delicious--definitely the highlight of the meal. The malpua with rabdi was okay, nothing special. Overall, it's a nice place if you're looking for good service and a premium dining atmosphere. But in terms of value for money, especially with the portion sizes and taste of some dishes, it falls short. I'd say it's better than average but not something I'd strongly recommend, unless you're going for the ambience or a special occasion.

The Grand kitchen restaurant one is inside the AJ Grand Hotel serves phenomenal food. We ordered Kashmiri soup and it was authentic tasted delicious, Grilled chicken sandwich had a great texture, juicy and crunchy. Kashmiri kebab was just awesome sauted with some capsicum and onions, Alfredo penne pasta was so rich and tasty, pretty much all the dishes were amazing. They have a great service team, Actually they have Grand service with very professional clean and elegant people, Serving style platters, presentation, garnishing of the food is top notch. Prices are reasonable, quantity of the food and quality of the food definitely worth it.. Ambience is clean paintings are goes well with the decor lighting are soothing very beautiful. I have been here many times never got disappointed, once they added too much salt to my fish curry but they fixed the problem and on the top of that they gave me 10% discount on entire bill. They care for their customers. Overall very nice place to dine in with the families. Definitely recommend to everyone one. Service team is exceptional. Parking is plenty and also they have a free valet service. They have an awesome clean restrooms, high end facilities.

This restaurant is a lovely spot in the city center with good food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. The paneer masala fry was absolutely delicious and the highlight of the meal. However, the neer dosa was undercooked, which was disappointing. The staff quickly replaced it with fresh chapatis, which were done really well. We also couldn't get uppams, even though we ordered before the last order time, which was a letdown. Overall, it's a nice place with good food and attentive service, but they could work on ensuring the availability and quality of their key dishes.

Excellent restaurant with delicious food, wonderful ambience and great service. We started our lunch with the chicken clear soup which was excellent. The soup was full of veggie and chicken pieces. For starters we had the chicken ghee roast which was absolutely delicious. For main course we had murg tikka lababdar with naan. The naan was soft and crispy and the chicken gravy was full of flavour. We ended our lunch with fruit salad and gadbad for dessert. Both desserts were excellent. The service is fast and the servers are really nice. The ambience is soothing and the restaurant overall is one of the best in Mangalore.

Amazing place! Tried fish for the first time here and it was a delectable dish. The rates are quite steep and the staff is polite. One of the staff members seems out of sync but otherwise just fine. The service is slow but the wait is worth it as the food is one of the best in Mangalore. Valet parking is available.

The burnt garlic soup was very tasty The prawn butter garlic was really creamy and tasty The seekh kabab was tender and had a good flavour The kabab was cooked well The Japanese katsu curry was not really good , it had a strong turmeric taste and was unbearable. The spagetti bolognese lacked tomato sauce and it was very salty. The only plus point was the garlic bread.
