BQ Canteen is for affordable yet tasty food. The food is good for the price they serve. Variety of breakfast and lunch menu. Hygiene is maintained properly.
Been visiting this canteen often and I feel its one of good place/ canteen to have Snacks in Manipal. It serves dishes made from only vegetables and egg. Serves Frankies, Sandwiches, Chinese options, Tea, Coffee, Fruit juices, Milk shakes, rice items, noodles, and various Maggie options. It also has ice creams, chats and other packed local snacks items to take away. This canteen has enough space to dine in and maintains enough hygiene indoors. This serves good food for good budget, which is the best option for students around. Accepts UPI payments too
Food quality is great, the 4 start is because of preparation of veg & egg is in the same kitchen, unsure of the utensils used.
I've had the chapathi with paneer gravies. They were all really good. The veg sandwich and veg Frankie were really disappointing. The Manchurian noodles was okayish but the Manchurian rice was worst. The baby corn Manchurian was sour for some reason. The veg noodles is good for the price and the pulav is okayish.
For the prices they offer and the quantity of the items served, this place is really good. The manchuri wasn't that great, I liked the biriyani. North Indian gravies are good too.
Taste is awesome with different items of menu. If you're a vegetarian definitely a go to place.
If you are a MAHE student then you must try the food here atleast once.. The price is similar to any other restaurants in manipal. We had idli sambar and vada.. It was really good, no complaints Specially vada was crispy and delicious .. Try it with their chatni .
I like their egg maggi and Puri baji. Even their parathas like alu partha and Gobi Paratha are good.
