BEAUTIFUL place. Started with their home made type Chicken biryani. I was blown away into the next dimension. It had a ton of masala at the bottom and fried oniona were just what my digestive system needed. The tandoori chicken is their best seller and was well done. Chicken sandwich was sooooooo meaty and filled with a good amt of mayo. Devoured it till i bled. Finished with some god given cold coffee and some blueberry cheese cake baked from heaven. Light on the pocket and good ambience.. Must try again Manipal. I'll be back.....

An old favorite of manipal people..visited by students..locals and outside people..its a hot spot which is always busy serving people... If you're in manipal..do try out this restaurant It's a go to hotel in manipal.. We ordered gobi manchurian..Veg biryani..oreo cheescake..blueberry cheescake..manchow soup.. All were finger licking good especially the rice and Manchurian... The prices are budget friendly..if you're coming in a group of 4 or 5..it will cost u...around 200-300...per person... Interiror is also good with home like ambience..plants placed here and there... It's the OG of manipal...do visit if you want your tastebuds to dance..

Dollops has always been one of my favorite go-to places in Manipal. The cozy ambience and consistent quality of food make it a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Indian and fusion dishes. I started with the Hot and Sour Chicken Soup, which had the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, making it a comforting choice. Next came the Chicken 65, my all-time favorite, which was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right spice level. The Chicken Chilli Kebab was another winner--succulent pieces of chicken coated in a spicy, well-seasoned marinade. For the main course, we had Chicken Biryani and Egg Biryani, both packed with aromatic spices and served with raita, making them a complete and satisfying meal. To top it all off, the Lime Juice was refreshing and a great way to cleanse the palate. Overall, Dollops never disappoints with its amazing food, reasonable prices, and nostalgic charm. Whether you're a student, a local, or just visiting Manipal, this place is highly recommended!

This is a restaurant which is time tested. A real example of consistency. It has been there for years and maintained the good taste and flavours of food for decades. Try the fried rice and vege balls in garlic sauce. The servers are friendly, and so are the owners. They serve with great efficiency. The ambience is something that might depend on the person. The inside can be little dim, but that helps when you go from the hot sun. There are plenty of outside and shaded seating arrangements. Overall, if you are in Manipal, you shouldn't miss this outlet.

Food was good... Quantity is little too much. So we had to cancel biryani and 1 dessert.

I highly recommend this place, Good food, good service and amazing ambience. We had the chicken fried rice, along with lollipop chicken and pepper chicken. The lollipop chicken was a bit sweet for my taste, but give it a try. Pepper chicken could have been more peppery and spicy, Overall I highly recommend this place, while you are in Manipal.
