Best place for local cuisine in Manipal. The seafood is fresh and cheap. Amazing food and staffs are very hospitable. Squid chilly is a must try! Don't go for the Biriyani though

The wide variety of sea food available here is the best thing to have. The crowd is usually more during lunch hours. But the service is quick and good. The place is maintained well and the costs are also economical. Try their fish meals (you get to choose which fish dish you want with it). For accompaniment you can order chicken or prawn or squid dish (as per availablity). The taste of each dish is great and can be savoured to the fullest.

My go to place ... Been a regular here for lunch since few years now... Only restaurant in manipal with very reasonable price .. fish is always served fresh .. if its a frozen fish in office season they inform u as well .. food is delicious... Love the kebabs as well ... Food colour isn't added in any of the food .. owner is very sweet and humble

Excellent food place! Just outside MIT Manipal gate-4, Pingara stands tall and right, with lots of fish options and rice thali priced at just 40, it is pocket friendly as well. Fast service, friendly staff and neat and clean seating area. This is the best place for having fish and seafood at less rates! A big big win!

Every fish lover should visit this place atleast once . A absolute sea food delight place. Easy on pocket and high on taste . You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

Lovely Place for a quick Lunch or Dinner for people who love to eat in the old traditional way in a Banana Leaf. And you can ask for more if you want to eat. The dry chutney is the best I tasted here and can have more then 1 serving of rice with it.

Food is really cheap , nothing special otherwise, average meals.

A restaurant with affordable sea food. Fish fry and meals taste decent but worth the price.
