Went to this canteen with my friends for trying food here. This place was filled with only males. Food worth the price. Can try once. Try the food here for very cheap price. Plates were clean and a man served food to plate but you have to take plates and after having food should keep it for cleaning. No seating arrangements as such but there are tables where you can stand and have food. Overall worth the money. QR scanner and cash, two modes of payment are available here.

I just finished my breakfast in 5rs, that's cool right! They serve pretty good descent food and it's hygienic too.

Food and meal @ 10-20. Value for money. But menus are fixed. In the meal you can have loaf/roti/chapati (10/serving) or rice (10/serving) or both (20/serving). If there's any issue do contact the responsible person. It works in the PPP model.

OMG! 5 Rs. For Breakfast and 10 Rs. For lunch/dinner. Its not just cheap rate the food is also very good.

The place is simple. It's purposes is food security and hence expect your experience with that in mind. That being said, the place is clean and efficient. It was designed to handle big crowds and it holds up pretty well. The food is actually pretty good. And honestly, they have the best sambar in Manipal (if not udupi). Lunch and dinner are priced at 10. And breakfast at 5. You buy a coupon, you take a plate, slide it down the counter, you get served. Go eat. Keep your plate back. Prison/military style. They also use very good tech. For cooking and they try to be self sufficient by producing bio gas from food waste.
