Karavali Seafood A/C family Restaurant

Karavali Seafood didn't meet our expectations as the food was simply overpriced. Sat comfortably in an A/C environment but we're still feeling the heat, as chillness found to be low. More disappointment entered with the fish thali served. Fish curry was too spicy and didn't match well with the rice. Anjal tawa fish fry and Kane rawa fry was just ordinary and not great in form. Kokum & buttermilk refreshing drinks were the only we can vouch for terming it as good. Service was nice but saddened by the overall experience. Never a thought also to land up again in future

I recently visited this restaurant and I really loved their Singapore chicken, which I would recommend. Also I would recommend to try their squid butter garlic, which I have never tasted before. One more thing that I would suggest is Chicken Biriyani which is again must try. Overall a must place to visit if you are in Manipal.

We had the pleasure of visiting Karavali Restaurant in Udupi, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The food is incredibly flavorful--every dish feels like it's been crafted with magic by the chef. Although the restaurant looks small, don't let its size fool you--the taste more than makes up for it. We tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and everything was delicious. The vegetarian dishes were as impressive as the non-veg ones, which says a lot about the versatility of the menu. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, they are still quite affordable, considering the quality of the food. We loved it so much that we ended up having lunch and returning for dinner, where the chef prepared a special seafood dish just for us. The warm hospitality and incredible flavors make this restaurant a must-visit in Udupi.

This is my favourite place to have chicken biriyani, neer dosey with chicken sukka,(posted pics of it) and Anjali tawa fry. At the end of the meal they provide jaggery,which is considered good for digestion.

A cozy restaurant in Manipal,a great place for seafood. Very unique dishes. The host,Mr.Madhav Shetty was very nice and even showed the fishes before cooking. He is very wise and guided us on choosing the fish. The fish was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend their neer dosa and butter garlic prawns. Soo worth it. As a tourist visiting Udupi,I was highly satisfied and would love to visit again. Just a heads up, if you are visiting during the months of June or July,please note there is a fishing ban during these 2 months so some varieties won't be available. Awesome place!Lovely service. A big thanks to Mr.Madhav and the staff.

Those who are seafood lovers must and must know about this place around manipal This is one of those best restaurants which serves delicious seafood with great hygiene. Food items we tried : Squid dry Prawns basil dry Marvai (shell fish) sukka Neerdose Buttermilk Definitely going back to try more from the menu! Highly recommend place

Cozy little place which is quite popular among the students here. Very good seafood available especially the king fish and prawns. Theyr fish thali is quite popular as well. Food was well prepared and tasty. Definitely value for money. They have lobsters available too but sadly wasn't there when we visited. Must try place and highly recommended.

Might be a biased review as I am not a fish lover... And this place is famous for fish preparations. I ordered chicken dishes and paratha and they weren't upto the mark. Too spicy for my taste buds. I heard a lot of positive things about the restaurant and thus, I went for it.
