Customer Reviews & Testimonials

SP Reviewer

We tried the Rotti Meal here, and it was good. The rotti was soft and well-made, while the side dishes--dal and avarekai palya--were decent. However, I felt the meal could be even better with different side options. The thali also included curd, rice, groundnut chutney powder, pickle, sambar, chili chutney, onion, and papad, which complemented the meal well. But I would have preferred side dishes like capsicum palya or brinjal palya for more variety. We also tried the buttermilk, which was absolutely delicious! The staff was great, making the experience pleasant. Overall, a good meal, but a little variation in the side dishes would make it even better!

Food is good and the staff are courteous. A place to have simple home food on a limited budget. Wholesome food with vegetables, curd and jowar roti . It's a small place so one has to wait for his turn

True, authentic north and central karnataka cuisine is available here. The place majorly caters to the visitors of KMC hospital. Usually crowded during afternoon lunch hour. The taste is authentic and savory. Daily there's a change of side dishes. If you're looking for authentic north Karnataka cuisine this is the place to be.

Visited the Rotti mane just to eat the jola(jowar) rotti. It was good. The curry served along with it was also good. Service was quick, and it was a good experience. The place is located near canara Mall besides cafe 7 bees.

Food was very average. They don't even ask for what you want they directly keep the plate. Sabzi was burnt and not tasting good. 2 jower roti and 2 sabzi costing 80rs ( not worth in my opinion).

Food was good which includes roti, curry, rice, chatni, palya, papad. Customer service was not soo good. When I asked extra plate, they given me dirty plate which I never expected.

Jower Rotis are get thin like these rotis you need min 10 to fill stomach, two different sabji are very good, one bowl rice was good but sambar was pathetic. Rupees 90 was charged for one meal. Wont visit this hotel again and wont suggest others to visit it.

This place is clearly visible from Kasturba Hospital's OPD entrance as well as from the Emergency Department. North Karnataka style food is served here. Meal consist of Two Sorghum /Jowar Roti; was fresh and tasty as usual, Two different type of Vegetabel curries, Shenga Chutney, Khara Chutney, Rice, Sambar, Curd and Papad. Felt little congested as it was crowdy busy working day. Recommending this place... for the Uttara-Karnataka style food.
