Panchataara Multi-Cuisine Family Restaurant

NO BENGALURIANS NOOOOO!!! This restaurant is absolutely how bad it can get to spoil your journey back to Bangalore. We waited for 35 min expecting food would be at least great. Food was eatable. Not good enough for 2 or 3 stars as few of the food was missing salt or sauce or no deal for the naan. Service men is only one 1 + the cashier is serving. We orderes about 14 items for 3 families and we got all in good in installment while we had to dry our hand in between. We spent about 1.5 hours when we actually we're in a hurry. We cancelled the pot Biriyani due to delay We asked him politely why so bad and he was polite enough to say sorry sir it became late today. I will definitely remember this place in my bad chapters and won't visit even if this is the last restaurant on earth.

High amount for food. The dishes that are ordered are delayed too much without being given anything. What they say about the food while ordering the food is not what they say after the food is served. No matter what they ask, they say that if you want our hotel like this, eat or if you don't, go to another hotel. Even if you ask for something, no one is ready to give it.

We were on our way to Poojari Fish Land, heading back to Srirangapatna, when we missed a service road near Manipal Hospital. That detour led us to Panchatantra, a place that didn't give off great vibes from the entrance itself. But we decided to give it a chance anyway. The restaurant was empty, just the two of us, which wasn't the most reassuring sign. We started with Garlic Butter Naan and Chicken Chettinad (which, to our disappointment, didn't taste anything like Chicken Chettinad). However, the service was quick, and the flavors were decent enough to continue. Then came the real test, the Chicken Biryani. After an eternity of waiting, it arrived, only to add to our disappointment. The basmati rice was undercooked, lacking any real biryani aroma or taste. The chicken itself was just okay, but overall, the dish fell flat. We left most of it unfinished and didn't bother ordering anything else. Adding to the odd experience, we noticed the cashier's desk had the name Hotel Saravana Bhavan, a reminder of another disappointing meal we had at a South Indian restaurant with the same name on our way from Coorg to Bengaluru. Overall, Panchatantra failed to impress, both in service and taste. Quick service on the first dish couldn't make up for the underwhelming experience that followed. Would we return? Definitely not.

Very nice hotel, food was tasty and made by professional chefs. Hotel is in between two big and crowded hotel but it was best decision to choose this place instead of those two.

The worst veg food i ate till date- the gravy of veg and non-veg is same only. I asked them to prepare less spicy food to which they even make it more spicy and food taste is not good at all. Please preffer to have food in any Udupi than in this restraunt.
