The food was good, but the manager refused to acknowledge that they cannot charge more than the MRP. I was charged 40 for a cold drink that clearly had an MRP of 20

Great place for north indian and dinner. I ordered veg kofta and , dal fry , wheat roti and jeera rice and starter. The staff was polite and sincere and food was especially better for a southern indian city. Unfortunately forgot to take picture of food. i had come for halting in the city for few hours and i was looking for good north indian food. This place is good, a bit difficult to locate.

Visited Ashok Veggies again recently, this time with a group of friends, and sadly, the experience continues to decline. The moment we sat down, we were served water in glasses that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly--one of them had visible dirt/mug stains inside. It was off-putting right from the start. When we pointed it out, the server just swapped the glass without any apology or concern, as if this was a common occurrence. For a place that claims to be vegetarian and family-friendly, even the most basic hygiene standards are not being maintained. We were genuinely looking forward to a nice dinner, but the lack of cleanliness and careless attitude of the staff ruined it. Definitely not returning anytime soon.

On 01 March 2025, visited the Restaurant, one of the Worst Experience, Very Salty Mushroom Manchurian even complained to Staff / Server about this, but never replaced it or never Acknowledged it that why it's Too Salty. Even the Dal Fried Rice/ Dal Kichidi was not at All Good, no Taste and No Flavour of it. At the End of the Billing Informed about my Experience to the Cashier / Manager, he said It will be taken care. But not happy with the Food and Service.

I recently dined at Ashok Veggies with my husband, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to serious hygiene issues. During our visit, I ordered hot water to drink as I had a sore throat. Towards the end of our meal, I noticed small strands of hair floating in my glass. Upon inspecting the jug, I found not only hair but also dust. When I brought this to the server's attention, he casually remarked that the dust might have already been in the glass and offered to replace it. When I showed him the jug's condition, he reluctantly agreed to change that as well. This was not the first time I had encountered such issues here. On a prior visit with friends, we ordered cold drinks with our meal, and twice, I found glass shards on the bottle rim. When I pointed it out, the server nonchalantly said, "Aise ajata hai na madam kabhi kabhi bottle open karte time." This time, I requested to speak with the manager, but the server initially refused to provide his contact details and said that the manager was out for some work. After persistent requests, he discussed it with his colleagues and shared the number. When I called the manager, he was polite and assured me he would address the issue and guide his staff better. Despite the hygiene concerns and the inconvenience caused, we were charged the full amount. When I questioned the server about this, he had no response and left, as my husband had already completed the payment while I was on the call with the manager. While I appreciate the manager's patience and willingness to listen, the lack of accountability and proper hygiene standards from the staff is unacceptable. I hope Ashok Veggies takes this feedback seriously to improve their food safety and customer service.
