"Hello to the Queen," a name that whispered of forbidden pleasures, proved devastatingly accurate in a Hampi hostel. My senses are still reeling, my soul still humming, from an encounter with a dessert that transcended mere sustenance and soared into the realm of the divine. One bite, and I was undone. A warm, yielding cookie base, like a lover's soft skin, surrendered to the silken caress of caramel. Ripe, yielding banana, a tropical indulgence, mingled with the cool, pristine purity of vanilla ice cream. The name itself, a cheeky nod to imperial grandeur, felt less a title and more an invitation. Was it a reference to some forgotten Rani, or a playful subversion of stiff British propriety? Perhaps a stolen recipe, whispered secrets of the Raj, now reborn in this ancient, sun-drenched land. The textures, a play of warm and cool, soft and yielding, were a sensual exploration. "Hello to the Queen" wasn't just a dessert; it was an experience, a memory etched in the very fabric of my being. It was a reminder that even in the most unexpected places, amidst the ruins of ancient empires, true culinary artistry can flourish. And for that, I offer my own heartfelt greeting: "Hello, to the Queen, indeed." It's essentially a banana split

We stayed at Zostel for a week and ended up having all our meals here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a bunch of friendly pets--dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, geese, and even a parrot! The staff is attentive and quick to serve, making us feel right at home. There are dorm rooms as well as private huts for all travelers. They also offer tents if the rooms are all booked. The view of the boulders are amazing. The crowd here is young and vibrant, with plenty of activities going on. Some days, we'd spend from morning till evening just hanging out--playing games, snacking, and soaking in the lively vibe. The menu is super diverse, and we absolutely loved the rajma chawal! There are so many different options to try, and everything we tasted was spot on. If you're in the area, definitely drop by for a wholesome experience filled with great food and good vibes!

The property is awesome. They have dorms and private rooms for travellers which are air conditioned and are super to stay if you are visiting North side of Hampi. The ambience and the vibe that people bring are totally worthy. They have a diverse menu providing a lot of cuisines and are super tasty.

What a beautiful vibe this place has, their owners are amazing and so friendly. The best food you can have in Hampi, an absolute must visit when in and near the hippie island. Their Pesto Spaghetti pasta was to die for, their Thai curry with rice was like a warm hug in a bowl of food. Their Strawberry+banana+mint milkshake was exceptional and so was their banana lassi. Their paneer sizzler and tandoori momos were lovely and their Schezwan noodles although spicy, were top notch in taste. We will definitely visit again for their north Indian food as recommended. An absolute must visit.

Worst Management.. My brother spoke to the owner to enquire regarding the stay as we were planning vacation in near time and the owner responded very rudely and inappropriately, he asked to leave the place immediately and said that stay is not provided to locals.. also he started using bad words, seems like the guy have not known what mutual respect mean... Suggest to avoid this worst place and worst people in this resort... Please don't spoil your vacation..

Great food. Quick and good service. Friendly host and staff. Good food portions and quality. Ordered sweet corn vegetable soup, cream of tomato soup, paneer sizzler, Nutella and banana pancake.

I had the best few days at here. They have clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped dorms. Hostel owners, managers and staff are all welcoming and friendly. Their local insights and hiking recommendations were phenomenal. The way hosts go an extra mile by taking the guests around is admirable. They truly made this trip memorable. The cafe (Goan corner) has vibrant atmosphere and GREAT food. I would recommend this place 11/10.

They didn't allow us stay as we are locals within 60kms, booking is done in advance, and they told us that at the last moment after the web check-ins are done after being there for more than 1.5hrs. It was dark and we had to leave the place, some how it felt like we're being disrespected.
