Kamat Veg Restaurant - Sira

A Pleasant Breakfast Stop En Route to Bengaluru While on a morning ride to Bengaluru, I made a quick stop at this restaurant for breakfast--and I'm glad I did. The experience was refreshingly smooth from start to finish. Service & Ambience The service here is impressively quick, ideal for travelers looking to get back on the road without long delays. What stood out to me was the courteous and efficient staff, the majority of whom are women. They were professional, attentive, and clearly good at what they do. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the toilets were spotless--a detail that matters, especially on road trips. Ample free parking space was a big plus and made the stop even more convenient. The Food I ordered the Mysore Rava Masala Dosa, and it did not disappoint. The dosa was crisp and golden, with a mildly spicy Mysore chutney spread that gave it a nice kick without overwhelming the palate. The masala filling was flavorful and balanced, and it was served with coconut chutney and a unique vegetable kurma-style bhaji. The combination was a delightful departure from the usual accompaniments, adding a satisfying variety of textures and flavors to the meal. Final Thoughts This place is worth a visit for a quick, tasty, and hassle-free meal. Clean facilities, great staff, and delicious food makes it a solid breakfast stop on the highway.

While going to shimoga we visited this restaurant. It was a good environment and the washroom also maintained well , parking space also available. When it comes to food, not that great it was ok ok but the quantity was very less compared to the price. At last we felt very bad for the tea it costs 40rs including GST per tea. I didn't find any wow taste in that tea and the quantity was also very very less. Overall I won't recommend this hotel to common people. They Need to improve food taste at least for this price that's what my suggestion is. Thank you,

Stopped Here for breakfast quick service and food taste is very good. Best for south indian food. Plenty parking space. Crowded place.

The cost is too high, the food quality is average, and the ambience is also ok ok, tables were neat & clean this is about the fast food counter. Maybe the cost is much higher in a service restaurant. Only good thing about washrooms is that they are clean.

Food is ok. Wash Rooms are ok. Huge Space for parking. Ambiance is good.

Kamat (Sira) is easy to locate on the highway and has a little diversion right next to the highway. Visited this outlet on a monday afternoon, when the place was pretty empty. There's ample parking and clean washrooms. The staff is courteous and there are souvenir shops too, in case you need to pick something on the go. The food isn't great (Unlike other Kamat outlets, which are known for great food!). The food is edible, this was evident from the fact that a lot of people didn't finish the food on their table. The quality of food needs to be improved, to say the least!

Food quality is good.. Need to improve service and washroom cleanness

While the location is quite convenient, I found that the food quality and overall experience did not meet my expectations. During my visits, I noticed that the food seemed quite basic, which I suspect might be due to the high volume of bus travelers frequenting the place. Unfortunately, my experience here was quite different from the other Kamat hotels I have visited in the past. On both occasions, I found the food quality, in terms of taste, hygiene, and overall presentation, to be lacking. Additionally, I observed that the serving staff did not appear to be well-prepared, which further impacted my dining experience. I believe there is room for improvement in both the food quality and the service provided to guests.
