We tried masala puri, paani puri, dahi puri, French fries, goli soda lemon and gadbad. French fries were nice, yummy, crispy with fresh red chilli powder sprinkled, tasty Goli soda lemon was very good.. Worth trying Gadbad was ok Masala puri and pani puri were good But dahi puri this time was not good. During our last visit, dahi puri was good Service was very good Restaurant recommended for tasty vegetarian food.. Kindly add some jain/ no onion, no garlic options please

I ordered a plate of bance (a local delicacy) and tea. The bance was prepared to perfection - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh, and the dish was cooked with care. The tea complemented the meal wonderfully, providing a refreshing and invigorating end to the dining experience. The ambiance of Hotel New Satkar is welcoming and comfortable, with a clean and well-maintained interior. I have visited Sirsi with my family and everyone recommends this below average restaurant for tasteless food. I'm not sure about earlier but when I had food today, the quality of the food toooo bad...... Idly with tasteless sambar Mangalore buns are missing kurma. Chutney tasteless Dahi Vada missing boondi Overall worst experience with the food

I had ordered french fries, It was the worst french fries ever had, no restaurant serves such pathetic french fries anywhere...

Having masala dose since my childhood in this hotel. If you like crispy and less oil dose this place is must visit. Carry cash for this hotel as they don't accept gpay or phonepe

Totally amazingly tasty breakfast. Very authentic food and prompt, smiling service. Idli vada, dosas, poori, pulav, sheera, tea. All of these were simply out of the world. So filling, also kept our taste buds dancing. The first bite of hot pulav was extraordinary. As mentioned, service too was really good and fast too. A must visit place when you are around.

Hotel Satkar is one of the oldest South Indian Restaurant in Sirsi...Masala dosa is very famous here...Good family restaurant...Taste of the foods are good..But..Services are quite late..This Restaurant is not soo costly...i will recommend it for breakfast,lunch and for the evening chats..
