Had lunch there and ordered chicken biryani and parotta with chicken roast. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Tried chicken biriyani from here on 2 different days. First day it was good and second day they provided biriyani rice with fried chicken. Biriyani rice was so dry with no masala. Biriyani costs 90( one piece chicken) and they charge 20 or 40 for extra rice.
If you want cheap local food, fast and attentive service, and really good authentic flavours, this is the place to go!
The Roadside Food stall is owned by Canal Restaurant, bang opposite. They serve fresh and tasty parippu Vada / dal fritters. Other fare include. Pazham Pori (Banana Fritters), Kizhangu Bonda (Aloo Bonda) Payment can be made through cash or Google pay. They start at 2 PM. Sundays are off.
Nice authentic food, great glass of coffee and friendly people. It's very authentic, very conveniently located and within everyone's budget. Definitely recommended.
It's very cheap and authentic south Indian breakfast is available. As a foreign traveller, I didn't particularly enjoy the single available option of extra hot chickpea curry, but the locals seemed to love it.
Really good beef with parrata, also coffe after eating. Excellent prices
