Craving a change of flavors, I stumbled upon a hidden gem--a Gujarati hub where Lekha Aunty serves up homely, authentic Gujarati meals right from her home. Showing up unannounced one day, I was warmly welcomed as she whipped up piping hot methi parathas in no time, paired perfectly with aloo ki sabji and a fiery, flavorful chili pickle. To top it off, she treated me to some delightful homemade sweets for dessert. The pickle was so exceptional that I couldn't resist asking her to prepare a batch for me to take home, which she crafted fresh from scratch. Her incredible Gujarati thali meals are a true delight, and she also offers delivery and accepts party orders for those eager to savor her culinary magic.

We are very grateful to Aunty for welcoming us into her home. We highly recommend visiting, and to call in advance. (She speaks Malayalam, Hindi, Gujarati, and English.) We let her know we were coming, and she freshly prepared delicious Jain food for us. The place is hidden. From the street, you can enter the gate in the picture and follow the path to the right.

A true hidden gem! This place is a must-visit when you're in Alleppey--an insider tip that shouldn't be missed. The lady prepares everything fresh, the place is spotless, and the flavors are simply extraordinary. I went twice--once I had masala chapati with vegetables and another time a rice dish. Inis suitable for vegans. The food feels genuinely homemade and I was warmly welcomed into their home (cause the ,,restaurant" is like their kitchen). A wonderful experience!

The best food and best experience with aunty and their behaviour is like family

I had been to this place specially for guju food. In Kerala, I got the taste of food like my house. I enjoyed the food and also the hospitality. I suggest the tourists to visit this place to have real tasty Indian food. I had the pleasure of trying the delicious Jain food made by Lekha Jain and it was a truly wonderful experience! The food had a unique and authentic taste that reminded me of my mother's cooking. Lekha Jain has a real talent for cooking and every dish was made with the utmost care and attention to detail. What's more, the food was completely Jain-friendly which is a rarity in this region. We had very nice dinner cosisting of khichdi kadhi we had also offered fresh chaptis alongwith fresh pickles and sabji. Warm welcome and at reasonable price.

Had a hearty homecooked meal after 1 month in kerala. Food was awesome and as per request. Would recommend anyone missing homecooked north Indian food. Should visit here rather than any restaurant
