Mahaveer Vegetarian restaurant in Alappuzha, located near the boat jetty, is known for serving good quality food at reasonable prices. It's a popular spot for travelers. The ambiance is simple and functional, catering mostly to locals and tourists who come for the nearby backwater experiences.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Alleppey according to me. They serve authentic gujarati meal and dishes. Foods were amazing and delicious. The price is little high compare to other restaurant, but the dining experience, food quantity and taste will tell you that the price is justified. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. They were responding very fast. And there is nothing to complaint about the ambience as it is very much family friendly. Overall a great dining experience. Would recommend anyone. The food was amazing! It was great to have traditional Gujarati food after so many years. The Kadhi and Khichdi were especially delicious. However, the prices were a bit high. Highly recommended -Khadi Kichedi and Dal Tadka

Prices are high as this could possibly be the only veg North Indian restaurant. Food is good. Authentic. The place can be kept clean. Average cost per person will come around Rs- 200-250/-

Excellent Jain food and lots of options. After having more or less same dishes everyday during our Kerala tour we were so happy to have more Jain options at this restaurant. Jain Cashew curry, chappati and schezwan rice was yum. For dinner we had v filling khichdi kadhi. Service was fast and staff willing to help.

- Food is as close to authentic North indian taste as you will get anywhere in Alleppey. Guys running the place are from Rajasthan, Jodhpur side - very close to the city center of Alleppey, easily accessible. Reasonable parking space available - Pricing is mid range, not too high, not too low. To give an example - 6 phulke, 1 dal fry, 1 aloo gobhi fry, 1 glass chach is around 500 Rs. - Sitting area is comfortable, nothing posh, regular mid range restaurant sort, but good enough for families.

It's a decent vegetarian restaurant serving north Indian food in Alleppey. Food was a bit on the spicer side, so one may have to exclusively ask to prepare it with less green chillies. The sad part is that they don't accept online payment, and to the worst they haven't mentioned it anywhere. Never order any dessert as it will not be fresh.
