Sea shore restaurant

Literally a hidden gem of a restaurant. The kitchen is built just like a home kitchen and there's a sweet mum cooking homely Keralan food. The service is very good, although you have to wait for some time to get your order, it's worth the wait! Would always come here when I'm in Alleppey

We went to this cafe because the one we wanted to visit was closed , and this cafe was nearby, but our experience was so bad , I haven't got this mad with any food place. The staff was disinterested, there were not too many options available , got the food late and also in a very unpleasant way, also the taste was not that good, we ordered Malabar parantha and butter chicken and some cold coffee. It they were not ready to serve they should have atleast mentioned that, but this was not the right way to treat your customer. The only good thing was the view to the beach

I went to the Sea Shore restaurant quite often during my stay in Alleppey. The owner Sophina is really nice and makes very good homemade food. One time, shw prepared a special vegan Thali for me and another time a haf a very yummy dal. The view from the terrace is stunning. I recommend going there for sunset.

The best food I had in Kerala... the garlic shrimp, the fish curry, and the chicken masala.. spicy and left in sweats... takes a bit for the food to come out but wow. Great vibes and a great woman chef...

I am a vegetarian. Sometimes I found difficulty to get vegetarian food in the area when I visited there. But at a seashore restaurant you can get veg food with homely taste and good quality. Nice place to eat as there is a plus point of scenic view

The worst restaurant experience that i ever had. We had to wait for a long time for one the staff to take the order as well as serving the food. While billing we caught them red handed trying to add more money for what that is mentioned in the menu. For example i ordered chicken friedrice which was 170 rs and the charged me 190 and also my friends ordered a fish tawa fry which the staff told us the cost was 350 and they charged us 400rs. I wont recommend this place to anyone. They dont even provide the customers with glasses of water to drink. And in the case of their so glorified Fish Thali, idk if other people had noticed its just normal kerala meals worth 50-60 rs and they charge more than 100 rs.

Simply the sweetest staff. Very very delicious traditional food. Great view. You can sit here for hours and not be bored. Great place. Complete vibe. Loved it for my first kerala trip. Will visit again and again for sure. Love.

Had the meals here, and it was quite disappointing. The food lacked freshness, and the taste was below average. Curries were bland, and overall, it didn't feel worth the price. Definitely expected better quality. Wouldn't recommend.
