PADMA CAFE

A small space with delicious authentic food. They had a limited set of options like porotta, chapathi, masala dosa and all..but we knew exactly what we wanted and that was their ghee roast!! And such delectable to the palate!! One wasn't enough! We ended up ordering a second round and they were generous with the extra chutney - balanced to perfection, not very watery and served in neat little katoris.. the sambar was also great. The vadas were also pretty good, crunchy and flavourful served with an extra dash of sambar and chutney. I have to say I had taken cleaned off atleast 5 katoris of their chutney for my dosa. And can't get rid of the flavours from my head as I find myself craving more for the same. I wanted a lemon tea and that was also served well-balanced, not too sweet, not too sour with the perfect amount of tea. What I loved more was the waitress.. a loving soothing motherly tenderness radiated from her the moment we stepped in making us feel welcomed and right at home. The price was also very very reasonable, nothing overcharged or so. I'd suggest to try the spot for a comfortable authentic kerala plate.

Had a vegetable fried from your cafe through swiggy today vcosting me Rs 238/_ I am a regular visitor to your cafe during evening time and like dishes very much But the veg fried received today does not have any taste or quality. I wonder how it happened where I enjoyed tasty food.

Nice new hotel for this location. They had a great launch with a newspaper article. I had the chance to eat there recently. They have good parking (although no security to check properly). Food choices seem good and the price is extremely reasonable. Food tastes ok (better than highway hotels in the area). Having started newly, they're a bit understaffed and aren't able to handle dine in + delivery + take out orders. However, the staff are extremely courteous. Dining area is a bit crowded, but they have a 1st floor too which I couldn't see. The future for Padma cafe however, looks quite promising!

There is a lot of cleanliness here. Food is also good but not like Maharashtra.The taste of veg fried rice was very delicious. Veg special does not have chapati roti only rice.

Pretty good looking and eye catchy restuarant. It's a bit pricey for a common man but affordable place for travellers. 130/- for Mushroom Noodles and Veg Biryani is overpriced for the quantity served.

The food was tasty. Our orders were taken promptly by the staff. We had no problems with the sound atmosphere. A good place to stop during travels.

A quick pit stop before reaching Kochi airport. Clean, efficient, and great food that hit the spot. The Malabar Parotta with Chana masala was finger licking tasty. Completely vegetarian restaurant. They have great masala chai too.
