Discovered this restaurant adjacent to the Chinnar Forest Information Centre--a canteen-style establishment offering good food. Limited options due to its location within the Chinnar Forest area, but it provides essential amenities for travelers. The place is clean, and the food, while simple, is remarkably tasty. Visited multiple times as part of their trekking programs, creating a refreshing stop amid nature.
This is only restaurant and toilet in the area.. It's just on the side of the forest checkpost. The restaurant is ok..( you can't expect a star hotel here).. if ur on a group, you will have to wait.. ( they will cook only after you place the order).. There is an echo shop in the restaurant. The toilet is neat and clean.. The forest information centre is in the same building.. Be careful of the monkeys, they can take away your belongings from your vehicle..
This is a canteen hosted by Eco tourism facility at Chinnar Wild life sanctuary. There are no other eateries available enroute between Marayoor and Amaravati. The food quality is average cooked by local people.
