Angamaly Porkangadi

I am a pork lover, but I take utmost care not to be biased in any way, as I like many of you guys, rely on Google map reviews for good food and experience. From the previous reviews about the food it's just average and below average. My experience was also similar in a way. I had the pork biryani and was the first one to have it that day. I came there at 10 45 am. The biryani was well cooked, but lacked the biryanish flavours. If they hadn't called the dish biryani and named it rice and pork it would have been better, but the marketing would have been difficult. Service was good. The ambience was better. But all things aside, this restaurant is a try once destination, if u r a pork lover, considering the insanely less number of restaurants serving pork dishes in Kerala.

Let me give you a sutuation :- Its a day after a well recived "lalettan" movie Its a long drive day Its a rainy day Its a day of craving for some non veg eateries Its a day to end cravings for a Good "chaaya". And you landed on "Angamaly porkangadi" Now everything changes from here... You spoiled the mood of the movie You are compelled to consume the worst "kappayum beefum" ever You have spoiled the mood of rain & its cravings You are disappointed on the choice you made. Jokes apart They don't even give you a single glass of water till the end. I wonder how this crap exists there? It's a clear example of make belief... I recommed you not to visit here if you ever have a chance in your life... Please drive or walk more from here you may find a decent place to eat...

Restaurant with good Pork dishes. Dining space was less, only 7 tables. Ample Parking space. Cleanliness was good. We had ordered Kalyanthallennu. It was Meals in Ella with specials like chicken roast, pig kaya and beef roast and veg like aviyal, thoran, two types of salad's, two types of pickles & kappa. It is another form of chattichor in Ella. It was good. Next day we had tried their chicken biriyani, it was also good.

Pork fry super, big parking, good service.

Excellent Service with lot of options with regard to Pork Dishes. Suggestions : It will be good if they provide Bread Options like Appam/Chappathy & Porotta also for Lunch. High Time to provide E POS (Debit/Credit Card Acceptance) since we are in Digital India.

Food was nice and pork dishes were yummy

Food was above average, but nothing special to go back for. End of the meal, one of their staff whistled us and shouted us to take the banana leaf and dispose it near to hand wash area. If you are not giving proper service then why do you charge exorbitant prices for?? And we don't mind disposing it off, but that was not the right way to treat a costumer by howling and whistling at them.
